Hello architecture and design lovers. today, we as a family went on a business trip out of town, because the children were still on school holidays, I brought the children to participate in the trip, while working also refreshing with my family🥰🥰🥰🥰
in the middle of the trip, the wind was blowing very hard, so we decided to rest at a cafe located on the slopes of Mount Sinabung. The exterior designer of this cafe looks unique from afar, at first glance it looks like the building material of this cafe is made of wood, I like the natural wood material. This cafe has a unique design, the cafe owner managed to create an architecture that is able to attract the attention of tourists to stop at this cafe.
The cafe owner designed the architecture of this cafe himself and designed the cafe with a natural concept that uses wood as the main material and cafe furniture. the owner of the cafe also managed to turn this former field into an attractive cafe, The owner designed this place so beautifully that visitors feel at home enjoying the amazing natural scenery, because not all cafes can take advantage of an existing place (background in the mountains) to become a cafe with a natural nuance (building materials and furniture using wood).
Fefica cafe is located on the causeway of Berastagi Telaga. The cafe building consists of 2 floors with the whole building made of forest wood, maybe because the cafe is surrounded by forests in the Bukit Barisan forest area, so wood is cheaper than bricks.
at the front of the cafe there is a minimalist fence made of polished bamboo strips, these bamboo pieces have a simple design.
while the guardrail is made of varnished pieces of wood. lacquered wood pieces make it more beautiful but does not eliminate the "aesthetic" impression on the wood grain. the design is simple but still impressive "luxury" in my opinion.
near the entrance fence there are rows of tables and chairs for customers, most of the tables and chairs are made of forest wood which is designed as a dining table.
I love the very unique design of this chair, the design is simple but “steals the attention” of visitors who come to this cafe.
After entering the cafe, I saw a reception desk designed with wood and bamboo. The architecture seems “natural” and blends in with the natural scenery around the cafe.
The lamp section also gets a beautiful design touch, namely by putting a hat that is often used by farmers in the fields so that the face is not exposed to the hot sun.
There are also old photos on the walls at the beginning of Indonesia's independence. The cafe designer also put some black and white photos that already look a little blurry, adding to the "traditional" impression of this cafe.
while waiting for the order to be prepared, we went upstairs, the stairs to go up to the top floor were made of pieces of wood which were designed as stairs and stairs dividers.
upstairs there are several sets of dining tables which are mostly made of wood. Supporting poles made of wood look sturdy supporting the building, even though the wind is blowing hard.
I like the neat arrangement of the tables, so that visitors can eat while enjoying the beauty of the stretching mountains, today Mount Sinabung erupts again, we can see volcanic ash little by little coming out of the crater, a very inspiring sight.
It's time to take some photos for documentation.
The waiter told us that our order would be ready soon, so we were asked to choose a seat. I chose a seat in the side yard with a backdrop of Mount Sinabung which was erupting. The waiter informed us that the wind was blowing very hard these two days, so we have to be more careful when traveling.
The owner of the cafe also provides several photo spots for visitors, so our family is fun to take pictures in the middle of the strong wind.
when viewed from the left side, the design of this cafe looks futuristic with bamboo and wood materials typical of the Karo land area.
The cafe owner seems to have succeeded in attracting the attention of tourists to stop by a cafe designed according to the nature of the mountains, because along the way we did not find many cafes with futuristic designs like this. Most cafes are just ordinary food stalls that are not well designed, even though beautiful architecture and building designs can increase the number of visitors which means increasing sales turnover.
how is the architecture and design of this cafe? Are you interested in the architecture and design of this cafe?
all the photos I took with the Realme GT master Limited edition 5G cellphone camera. Thank you for reading my writing.
