Architecture Design of Akmani Hotel, Central Jakarta
The Akmani Hotel is in Central Jakarta, precisely behind Sarinah Mall. The Akmani Hotel is one of the boutique hotels in Jakarta. I have never visited it before. This is the first time I set my foot at the Akmani Hotel for workshop purposes. I was lucky to able to attend the workshop at the day.
Talking about the interior design of Akmani Hotel was superb. Even though it is a Boutique Hotel, they have a spacious lobby compared to boutique hotels I've visited before. The ornaments that they chosen, mixture of gold and ivory, give a luxurious and elegant impression. No one would think that this hotel is a boutique hotel.
The workshop was held in one of the ballrooms on the 1st floor, exactly one floor above the lobby. From this floor, I can still see the activities around the lobby. By the way, there are restaurants to the left and right of the lobby. This restaurant is not intended for hotel residents, rather, anyone can stop by the restaurant. Later, I will show the restaurant to the Akmani Hotel stayers.

- The Restaurant
The Akmani Boutique Hotel has a Rooftop bar and restaurant. Here all customers finish their breakfast. It's very pleasant to be able to see a very nice view while eating. Yup, anyone who is at this restaurant will be able to see Downton Jakarta.
The furniture on the outside of the restaurant is in contrast to the inside of the restaurant which still has a vibe that matches the Akmani boutique hotel theme, namely glamor and luxury. The outside of the restaurant looks minimalist with the choice of furniture dominated by white and brown.
The Akmani Hotel is a unique boutique hotel. Right next to the restaurant, there is a swimming pool for guests. However, I saw that the position of the swimming pool was very strange. Right next to the restaurant, there is no space between the pool and the restaurant wall. Even though the glass walls are opaque, it will look strange if someone swims in the pool, while people are eating lunch and can see their movements while swimming. I think they should move the location of this swimming pool.
Through this picture, can you imagine if you swimming then peoples can see you.
Overall, The Akmani Boutique Hotel succeeds in giving a glamorous and luxurious impression. For a boutique hotel, The Akmani is still the expensive hotel. I have check the room price in several e-commerce, and it is still pricey. Thanks God, I have visited it!
However, its position behind Sarinah Mall seems unusual. I had difficulty reaching this hotel because I had to turn around first. The road in front of The Akmani Boutique Hotel is only used in one direction.
