We are so pumped about doing a WOOALPHA pack giveaway for the WOO (Wrestling Organization Online) game. They go by the name of @wrestorgonline on HIVE and this is a game that will streamline the obvious Wrestling Gamification. The quick check and dirty white paper can be found here, but there's more around.
You can already trade NFTs from the opened packs and in general, things are progressing very quickly now that the pre-sale has come to an end in just a few hours. Join their Discord and jump into the ring with us... WOOwhoooooo!
Voting for Witnesses
Why is this important? Well, the Pub will quote some of these from this post, for visitors' feedback.
- Protect your assets, by defending security in this chain
- Develop tools that you like @ecency or @peakd, etc
- Fight for true decentralization with options that are world viable (a blockchain only works forever if decentralized)
- Teaching and documentation
- Core-principles defending and prioritization side-kicks (chains)
- It's VERY hard to maintain Public infrastructure (still many top 20 do provide amazing performance nodes)
- Discuss the origin of Life (in blockchain way) and how to evolve privacy or identity
- Unhiding value of communities, catapulted into the next evolution of social media

How to vote for HIVE Witnesses? That's easy... you can use any of the following (there are others most likely):

You have 30 votes available, and yes you don't get any rewards or have to use all the 30 votes, but the way you should see this is probably the best way of defending what you like about HIVE.
Hence, vote for who you like doing stuff on HIVE, vote for who you think is doing something you like, who is protecting your interests, but vote! The reason is very simple and retroactive. The more engaged the community is on this exercise of voting, the higher the benefits for the community long term.
That's just because of the nature of our decentralized blockchain works. The more voting, the more witnesses will wish to exist, and the more decentralized the blockchain will become. On the same side of the Pub, you will see more competition (healthy competition) and that will bring better services, tools, performances, etc...
This Pub, for example, is represented by the @atexoras.witness run by @forykw and you can find a quick vote for @atexoras.witness tool, for example, provided by @cadawg to quickly vote (without requiring you to go through the above links) directly to @atexoras.witness.
Many would just realize the need for voting to be towards the governance of the blockchain, but that's not the only reason in HIVE. There is so much more (mostly pointed out above) that makes this entire experience the experience we all have. And 99% of that work, is because of witnesses or their groups (some of them are represented in groups led by a single leader/account).
CryptoShots🔫 Updates
As promised, some of the updates include the in-game menus. These got a bit of facelift and are looking very nice. Overall the handling of WAX signatures is improving as well.
The wallet section now includes the MARS token as well besides the already shown BOOM.
The playing section (just before you start playing) has also more information about your rewards after playing each game.
And then, the best part... the phew phew!
Don't forget to check the Discord as you can also play the first game by typing "!shoot" on the #shoot-here-with-botto channel and maybe win some BOOM.
You will also notice that you can earn levels on Discord, these will act as multipliers on the amount of BOOM you win when shooting in the channel room mentioned above.

Most of the questions you have are already answered there. Also, keep in mind that the game is being actively developed and it's still in the alpha phase.
