I've been under a lot of pressure at university lately. I've had to put aside my experiments, writing, and advising my students' thesis to meet the needs of lab work in teaching. It's a demanding task. There's no Wi-Fi signal in the labs, so you have to go beyond the entrance to get a signal. It was there, when I was at the top of the stairs trying to get a signal, and in the middle of the day, that the sunlight passed through the building's columns, creating this wonderful shadow.

I was particularly struck by how the shadows cast by the columns deformed when projected onto the stairs, creating rhomboid shapes along the entire staircase. The lab building is believed to have been like this, open-plan. This has the advantage of always being cool, but the disadvantage is that a lot of dust and dirt gets in, so I constantly have the labs cleaned since there's sensitive equipment that can be damaged.
Well, friends, this is the shadow I wanted to share with you. It wasn't my initial choice, but when I saw the pattern this shadow created, I began to see it from a different perspective, and I simply loved it. Últimamente estoy bajo una presión enorme en la universidad, he tenido que dejar mis experimentos, escritoras y asesoramiento de la tesis de mis estudiantes para atender las necesidades de las prácticas de laboratorio en la docencia, es una tarea absorbente. No hay señal de wifi en los laboratorios, así que se hace necesario salir más allá de la entrada para poder conseguir señal y fue alli, cuando estaba al borde de las escaleras intentando conseguir señal y en pleno mediodía que la luz del sol atravesó las columnas del edificio generando esta maravillosa sombra.

Me llamó particularmente la atención como la sombra que generaban la columnas se deformaban al proyectarse sobre las escaleras, generando formas romboides a lo largo de toda la escalera. El edificio de los laboratorios se creo que fuera así, abierto, esto trae la ventaja de estar siempre fresco pero la desventaja de que entra mucho polvo y tierras, por lo que constantemente debo mandara limpiar los laboratorios ya que hay equipos sensibles que pueden dañarse.
Y bien amigos, esta es la sombra que quería compartir con ustedes, no era mi opción inicial, pero cuando vi el patrón que generaba esta sombra comencé a verla con otra perspectiva y simplemente me encantó.
