Hello, dear @shadowhunters community,
I hope this post finds you well and observant—as always, chasing light and the beautiful outlines it casts.
Some time ago, I had the small honor of picking up my lesson daughter from school. Her parents weren't back yet, and because they would never allow her to return on her own, I was called upon to step in. It was a quiet evening, around 5:36 to 5:37 p.m., the kind that made you slow your pace without even realizing.
As we walked home, chatting about little nothings, I suddenly found myself distracted—not by noise, or people, but by something much simpler: our shadows.
At first, I didn't notice them. However, when she stepped in front of me, her shadow followed closely, long and lively across the dusty street. I paused, and in that moment of stillness, I saw not just her outline, but mine trailing gently behind hers. Our shadows danced in silence—hers curious and light, mine steady and tall.
I couldn't resist. I immediately pulled out my phone and took a few shots—not just to document the moment, but to remove how shadows can speak when words fall away.
Thanks a lot for reading, and thank you @shadowhunters for being a space where details like this are seen, shared, and celebrated.
This is my response to the @shadowhunters SMASh contest— round 384
My warm regards and a big hugs 🫂, keep sharing the love🫶🥰
