Greetings to all the members of the Shadowhunters community, especially to the participants of this contest.
Today's photo was taken while I was doing some business in the street. Specifically in the Vedado area of Havana. In that place there are many buildings from Cuba's pre-revolutionary era. They are characterized by their magnificent construction quality and variety of architectural styles. Even today it is the dream of anyone in the country to live in one of them.
In this photograph I tried to capture an instant where the past and the present intertwine through a reflection. These two buildings, with their facades full of history, are immortalized in the glass, while the silhouettes of cars and passersby give it a contemporary touch.
Without intending to, I have achieved that the reflection acts as a temporary portal that unites different eras, creating a sense of nostalgia and continuity.
