While holidaying on the island of Koh Samui, there was one favorite place of ours, we use to love going there for breakfast and that was at the Nathon Beach area, this area was also regarded as a tourist area it was the port or pier where all the ferries use to disembark the Thai people and tourist from the mainland of Surat Thani, but for some reason we could get a huge American or English breakfast here for only half the price compared to having breakfast on Chaweng Beach which was the main tourist area and that would have been the main reason double price for the main busy tourist areas as with everywhere in the world.
After our huge American or English breakfast we use to love taking that early morning walk along Nathon beach at this time of the morning it was so calm and peaceful you would only see a few local Thai people along the beach front having breakfast under them shady tress or simply enjoy the breeze from the ocean.
You would hardly see any foreigners on the beach at this time of the day they all would be to hangover from the night before they wouldn't surface to late afternoon and then they would do a repeat, how boring been hangover everyday and missing out on seeing all this beautiful nature. There would be no stories to tell once your back home if your mates asked you what did you on your holiday ohhh, I can't remember I was hangover everyday...lol...how exciting.
It was nice to see the enthusiasm in these beach vendors starting of there day early hoping to make a few dollars to feed themselves and family and the JetSki guys preparing there day also hoping to get a few anxious thrill seekers.
We really enjoyed walking along this beach seeing the morning activities unfolding within the Thai culture, to see how these people were so dedicated in enjoying and serving the tourist in the best way possible.
