In the graphic arts, the term perspective is used to designate a representation, generally on a flat surface, such as a sheet of paper or a canvas, of an object as it is perceived by the eye, so that its three-dimensional configuration can be intuited.
These representations are obtained from the intersection of a plane with a set of straight lines that join the points of the object represented with the point from which it is observed, called the point of view, a term also used to define the personal judgment or subjective view that a person has on a particular subject.
I took this photo some time ago during a visit to the Museum of Barquisimeto, the main local museum institution, and in it it is possible to observe the shadows cast by the columns perfectly aligned on the wall and floor of the building.
En las artes gráficas, el término perspectiva se emplea para designar a una representación, generalmente sobre una superficie plana, como una hoja de papel o un lienzo, de un objeto, tal como es percibido por la vista, de forma que se pueda intuir su configuración tridimensional.
Estas representaciones se obtienen a partir de la intersección de un plano con un conjunto de líneas rectas que unen los puntos del objeto representado con el punto desde el cual se observa, denominado el punto de vista, término también usado para definir el juicio personal o la visión subjetiva que tiene una persona sobre un asunto determinado.
Esta foto la tomé algún tiempo atrás durante una visita que realizara al Museo de Barquisimeto, la principal institución museística local, y en la misma es posible observar las sombras que proyectan las columnas perfectamente alineadas sobre la pared y el piso de la edificación.
