It has been a long time since I wrote an article on the shadows hunting operation I like to perform on my free time.
I hope you are doing well on your side and as excited as the hunters searching for the epic shadow to capture in a wild environment.
I picked the photo above to be my entry in the challenge of the week. It is a massive old tree that was in the ocean for a long time and is sitting on the beach.

I am confident many amazing photos will enter the challenge to surpass this series of photos. The competition is open, let share with the community the beautiful shot with shadows.

A-/ Locations
On the weekend I traveled to multiple villages on the Coast Line conducting a survey regarding the flora diversity on the fragile ecosystem close to the marine area.

I have a team of four working with me on different aspect of the survey and the collect of data. My work was massive, but the team collective effort gave us the opportunity to complete our mission before the start of the afternoon.

The group split in two, a friend and I decided to returned to the city as the rest stayed in the village chilling with local.
Once in the city there was not much to visit and the access to the beach was opened to all visitors.
The place were almost empty when we arrived, the car mechanic sitting in front of his business told us that only in the season of festival the area was crowed.

I was happy to be close to the Ocean on this part of the coast, 20 miles away of my residential zone.

A-/ Shadows
I was in a good mood, so I started to walk along the beach. It was not in my plan to get my feet wet because I was not prepared for this situation of salt water on my new clothes.
It was tempting to get close to the darker part of the sand on the beach to feel at least the water temperature or the water saturation sand slowly move aside when my foot touches the ground.
Although the walk on the dangerous area was calling, I resisted the temptation only photo walk on the dry side with beautiful thin white sand under my feet.
I should add that the sunlight condition at the time I picked up my camera was shiny. It was so bright that my smartphone screen light adjustment was off.
The black object on the far distant look like an abandon tools that fishermen usually place on the shore to help in their fishing activities.
As I got closer to the object, I discover the relic of a tree that certainly move from a different area to lend on this spot.
I could not determine if it was stuck in this location for hour or days, but I was certain that during the high tide it will disappear again, swallowed by the Ocean.

It was fun to find this old tree on the beach so far from my hometown. I took many photos to key this discovery in my gallery but also present to the member of the community of shadow this exceptional capture.
