Catching Shadows in the Light
this is my entry photo
I didn’t plan to snap shadows today, but sometimes beauty shows itself in ways you’re not expecting. The first photo I took was of an iron bar that lines the corridor of where I’m staying. I was just walking past when I saw how the sunlight fell through, casting a perfect shadow on the floor. It looked like a piece of art, simple but strong.
The next three shadow shots were even more captivating to me. Each one felt like it had its own story. I didn’t use any fancy camera just a little editing on my phone and a bit of patience. The light was just right at that moment, and I’m glad I caught it.
What I love about shadows is how they show us a different side of things. You can pass the same place every day and never notice until the light hits just right. That’s what happened with these shots.
I hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I enjoyed taking them. Sometimes, it’s the quiet moments and small details that make the day feel special.
Thanks to the Shadow Hunters community for giving us a space to share these silent but powerful captures.
