Hola amigos, gracias por pasarse un día más por mi blog, y sobre todo hoy que será una entrada para el Shadow Hunters SMASh Contest – Round 385. Pero ante todo, mis mejores deseos para el día de hoy. Ya estamos aquí compartiendo las sombras que capturamos durante la semana.
For this occasion, I had two very interesting shadows, but in the end I chose the one I'm sharing today—mainly because it reflects a more personal side of my daily life.
In my country, power outages are common, and with the extreme heat I prefer to stay in my room playing video games or watching a movie, in the dusk shadows of the late afternoon. My room is on the west side of the house, and the main window faces west as well, so during the last hours of the day, when everything is darkened, the sun's final rays enter my room, drawing light patterns on the walls.
That’s how I captured this image—with more shadows than light, and a glimpse of some of the bags and backpacks I use daily. I think this might be one of my most intimate entries.
Para esta ocasión tenía dos sombras muy interesantes, pero al final me decanté por esta que les muestro hoy—principalmente porque revela una parte más cercana de mi día a día.
En mi país, los cortes de electricidad son comunes, y debido al calor extremo prefiero quedarme en mi habitación jugando algún videojuego o viendo una película, en las penumbras de la tarde-noche. Mi habitación está en el ala oeste de la casa y la ventana principal también da al oeste, por lo tanto en las últimas horas del día, cuando todo está en penumbras, los rayos del sol que se despiden del día entran a mi habitación dibujando en las paredes con su luz.
Así fue como capté esta imagen, donde hay más sombras que luces, y se ve un poco alguno de los morrales y mochilas que uso en mi día a día. Creo que es de mis entradas más íntimas.
