Warm greetings shadow hunters! 🙏 💚
Today is Friday, and with it we have a new iteration of @melinda010100's wonderful Shadow Hunters Community Contest/Show Me a Shadow, this week with Round 243! For my entry today, I'm sharing a few photos that I just took of one of my several gecko friends that often hang out with me for my morning ritual of superfood fire coffee and a morning Hive post, up at the Flow House, a bamboo yurt built up on top of the 2018 lava flow, in the intentional community where I live (again).
This species of gecko, with the colorful name of Madagascan gold dust day gecko - Phelsuma laticauda, is an omnivorous diurnal gecko that is quite beautiful, with bodies painted in green, yellow, orange/red, and blue, that is very common here in Lower Puna, on the far east side of the Big Island of Hawai'i. They're also really cute little buggers.
This little fellow, a younger one, was a very cooperative shadow model today, posing in a number of interestng positions. In these photos, not is there the shadow of the gecko itself, but also the shadow of one of the bamboo support poles of the yurt, in which my little friend was seeking refuge out of the sun. I hope y'all enjoy! 🙏 💚 ⚡ 💥 🔥 👣 🌱
All photos were taken with my Motorola G Power Android Phone.

Thank you all so much who have helped me get to where I am today, and allowing me to share more of the beauty and magic from my life and my world with you, and for your continuous appreciation and support! I am truly deeply grateful! 😁🙏💚
