I have lots of good intentions. For starters, it was my intention to start using this account more this year, but that has not come to pass...
Lately, I have been tossing around for new "Layer 2" projects to get quietly involved in.
I say quietly, because many of Hive's layer to projects seem to get off and running with great fanfare, and then either slowly decline into nothingness, or fall apart with a mighty bang.
I originally created this account back on our old chain to serve specifically as a way to help support the creative content community on Hive — be that art, crafts, creative writing, photography or whatever.
I have stuck with that goal somewhat diligently over the years, including the move from Steem to Hive, but unfortunately the CCC community has not done all that well.
It once even had its own front end — two of them, even — but that's a thing of the distant past.
Artistic interpretation...
A community focused specifically on art and creativity — and encouraging artists — always made a lot of sense to me, but it never seems to gain much traction here. Perhaps it is merely a blockchain reflection of the age old "Starving Artists" trope... and artists are destined to "starve" for all eternity, because while people appreciate their work, they seldom put their money where their mouth is and support it.
That said, I continue to support it as best I can and earn a little on the side for my efforts, by being invested in a couple of liquidity pools started by the once active, then defunct, then once again active @cccf, with @cliffagreen as the driving force.
One of the cool side effects of participating in liquidity pools that also throw off rewards — in the form of (mostly) Hive-Engine tokens — is that you get exposed to projects, tokens and communities you wouldn't otherwise have seen.

Granted, I'm not all that active on Hive, except for commenting here and there, but some of these things are news to me when they suddenly show up as "contract payouts" in my Hive-Engine wallet.
So, putting some of my CCC tokens into the CCC:WIT Liquidity Pool and the CCC:PHOTO Liquidity Pool has helped me start to build a small stash of some of Hive-Engine's more established "Investment Tokens" like BRO, DRIP, LGN and a few others.
Mind you, it's all on a very small scale, but if you've ever left a bucket below a dripping faucet, you'll be aware that the bucket eventually fills... and one little drop of water every few seconds actually can become quite a lot.
So I'm not bothered by the relatively small scale.
Meanwhile, I have decided to start dabbling in PeakD's recently added "Snaps" short format feature.
Because... why not?
But... why now?
Well, I realized that it won't be long before I'm going to sit down and try to make some plans/goals for 2025. And it would be nice to at least have something in place to support those goals!
