Publicdomain may have given us the tool to solve one of the big problem on the blockchain : how do I prove my identity ?
When you hash some information in the telos blockchain, Publicdomain post your information on the website http://publicdomain.live This information is freely available to anyone querying the site.
There is a process to link two information together. For detailed information, please look at http://publicdomain.live.
This open source flat index may have several applications. One of them is to prove your identity.

The best prove of your identity is made by the people you know, your parents, your family, your friends, your business colleagues.
When you link your telos account with other accounts, you are proving who you are.
By proving who you are, you prevent others to steal your identity.
Some opponents to the power of the state are not willing to use any proof of identity.
Level of proof:
The level of proof will depend of the number of linked accounts. You can start with 1 person proving that you are real. Then you can add a second, 3,4,5,6 … If 7 people prove that it is you, you reach an optimum level.
I can link any account to my account ?
I can find account name when people propose a project on worker proposals or in the SEEDS community social network and link them myself to my account name.
You’d better check who is using your account name.
If you want to verify one account, you have to call the referees ?
Not necessarily. You can check the account activity with a block explorer. Just clic on the account name, signature of the hash and you will be redirected to the block exploration.
On telos blockchain, the activity of one account give a lot of information about this account.
If you verify the activity of 5 referees, you can prove that this account is reel or fake.
If there not any transactions between the account name and the referees, then it is probably fake!
I like to learn by making. So you are welcome to check, hash your account and link it to your relationships. Your peers will prove who you are.
A hash has a signature, if the account name has been hash by someone else, it may be a problem, not necessarily.
You can also visualize your network with the web of trust.
