I have a simple question for anyone who feels as though they have earned Canadians admiration, and respect. Polish, French, American and Canadian forces prepared for Operation Overlord. It would be become the ultimate sacrifice of human life, for the greater good of humanity.

Russia having defeated a major portion of Hitlers army in Stalingrad, had a bilateral agreement with these allied nations, that after WE LEAD THE CHARGE on the beaches of Normandy, that Russia would play their part in defeating Hitler once and for all.
