I had a professor in college who used to say that self-help books perhaps made us crazier – maybe that's where my touch of madness comes from, although I haven't read that many, but I have several that I want to share with you. They say that good things should be shared, so I'm doing my part by bringing you this book that I once read, on my brother's recommendation, and today I want to bring you a little piece of this book.
Hello hello my Hive Book Club people, after those crazy vacations I had, well, I decided to get back to consistency and here I am. I've been thinking about establishing a specific day of the week to make my publication, but while I organize my schedule, I'll be bringing you the publications as the day dawns. Today I decided it would be this particular book: The Four Agreements.
For me, "The Four Agreements" is a book that offers a kind of code of conduct to achieve happiness and personal freedom. The author, Miguel Ruiz, presents four fundamental agreements that, when internalized and practiced, can transform our lives by freeing us from limiting beliefs and negative thought patterns.
Throughout the literary work, the author presents the four agreements: Be impeccable with your word. Don't take anything personally. Don't make assumptions. Always do your best. And 1 throughout the book, he explains the details of how these agreements should be made with yourself so that things work.
Be impeccable with your word: This agreement emphasizes the power of the word and the importance of using it constructively and honestly. Our words have the ability to create or destroy, both for ourselves and for others.
Don't take anything personally: This agreement talks about freedom from the unnecessary suffering caused by the actions and opinions of others. What others say or do is a projection of their own reality, their dreams, and their fears. It's not directed at us personally.
Don't make assumptions: This agreement invites us to communicate clearly and to ask instead of assuming. Many times, our assumptions are based on fears and insecurities, which leads to misunderstandings, conflicts, and suffering.
Always do your best: This agreement encourages us to give our best in every situation, regardless of the outcome. Our "best" will vary from moment to moment, depending on our circumstances and our mood.
In essence, for me, "The Four Agreements" proposes a path to authenticity and freedom through awareness of our thought patterns and behavior. By adopting these agreements, we can break free from old limiting beliefs, live with greater joy, love, and inner peace, and build more harmonious relationships with ourselves and with others. And most importantly, the book is a reminder that we have the power to choose our own reality and that happiness is a choice we can make in every moment.

Tenía un profesor en la universidad que decía que los libros de autoayuda nos volvían más locos quizá de ahí viene mi toque de locura, aunque no he leído tantos, pero tengo unos varios que les quiero compartir, dicen que lo bueno debe compartirse, así que yo cumplo con mi parte trayéndoles este libro que alguna vez leí, por recomendación de mi hermano y hoy les quiero traer un pedacito de este libro a ustedes.

"Los Cuatro Acuerdos" para mí es un ejemplar que ofrece una especie de código de conducta para alcanzar la felicidad y la libertad personal. El autor, Miguel Ruiz, presenta cuatro acuerdos fundamentales que, al ser internalizados y practicados, pueden transformar nuestra vida al liberarnos de creencias limitantes y patrones de pensamiento negativos.
A lo largo de la obra literaria el autor presenta los cuatro acuerdos: Sé impecable con tus palabras. No tomes nada personalmente. No hagas suposiciones. Haz siempre lo mejor que puedas. Y durante el libro va explicando los detalles de cómo deben hacerse estos acuerdos contigo mismo para que las cosas funcionen.
Sé impecable con tus palabras: Este acuerdo enfatiza el poder de la palabra y la importancia de utilizarla de manera constructiva y honesta. Nuestras palabras tienen la capacidad de crear o destruir, tanto para nosotros mismos como para los demás.
No te tomes nada personalmente: Este acuerdo habla sobre la libertad del sufrimiento innecesario causado por las acciones y opiniones de los demás. Lo que otros dicen o hacen es una proyección de su propia realidad, sus sueños y sus miedos. No está dirigido a nosotros personalmente.

En esencia, para mi "Los Cuatro Acuerdos" propone un camino hacia la autenticidad y la libertad a través de la conciencia de nuestros patrones de pensamiento y comportamiento. Al adoptar estos acuerdos, podemos romper con viejas creencias limitantes, vivir con mayor alegría, amor y paz interior, y construir relaciones más armoniosas con nosotros mismos y con los demás.
Y lo más importante es que el libro es un recordatorio de que tenemos el poder de elegir nuestra propia realidad y que la felicidad es una elección que podemos hacer en cada momento.
