Antes que nada, tengo que mencionar que como extrañaba inspirarme a través de los libros! Mis disculpas con esta linda comunidad porque he estado muy perdida debido a que el año 2022 fue uno de mis peores años de lector, ya que tuve un bloqueo super grande que no me dejo terminar varios libros que comencé y en el cual solo tuve un libro terminado, llamado "El Príncipe Cruel" de Holy Black, al cual le hice una reseña, pero no continué con la saga y releyendo lo que escribí al respecto, tengo pensado retomar. Es por ello que para entrar en este concurso de la comunidad, quiero hablarles sobre mis metas lectoras de este 2023!
First of all, I have to mention that how I missed getting inspired through books! My apologies to this nice community because I've been very lost due to the fact that 2022 was one of my worst reading years, since I had a super big block that didn't let me finish several books I started and in which I only had one book finished, called "The Cruel Prince" by Holy Black, to which I did a review, but I didn't continue with the saga and re-reading what I wrote about it, I plan to take it up again. That's why to enter this community contest, I want to tell you about my reading goals for 2023!
- El Lado Oscuro
Voy a comenzar con el que, creo yo, será mi primera lectura del año. Se trata de la trilogía "El Lado Oscuro", el cual trata sobre un mundo dividió entre brujos blancos y brujos negros, básicamente un mundo entre brujos buenos y malos, en el cual hay un brujo que es mitad negro y mitad malo, llamado Nathan. El motivo por el cual quiero hacer esta lectura es porque me vi la serie "El lado oscuro: el hijo bastardo y el mismísimo diablo" de Netflix y para variar fue cancelada. Definitivamente yo no puedo quedarme con ese chisme sin resolver, quiero terminar la historia, así que voy a leer la Trilogía para ser feliz.
- Saga de Geralt de Rivia
Continuando con otra saga que quiero leer gracias a una serie que vi, obviamente The Witcher. No quiero hacer spoilers de esto, ya que me vi las dos temporadas de la serie, pero si quiero decir que el personaje de Geralt me atrapo por completo, pero me parece que se demoran mucho en sacar la nueva temporada y yo nuevamente, no puedo quedarme con este chisme sin resolver, así que planeo leerme por lo menos 3 libros de esa saga tan larga.
- De Sangre y Cenizas
Jennifer L. Armentrout es una de mis escritoras favoritas, me vuelvo rápidamente adicta a sus historias cuando empiezo un libro escrito por ella. El año paso anote este libro como una de mis lecturas, y de hecho lo comencé, pero no lo termine, realmente no avancé casi nada debido a mi bloqueo, seguramente esta sea mi segunda lectura del año porque he leído muy buenas reseñas al respecto y yo también quiero saber que tan excelente es esta historia de fantasía.
- The Dark Side
I'm going to start with what, I think, will be my first read of the year. It's about "The Dark Side" trilogy, which is about a world divided between white warlocks and black warlocks, basically a world between good and evil warlocks, in which there is a warlock who is half black and half evil, named Nathan. The reason why I want to do this reading is because I watched the Netflix series "The Dark Side: The Bastard Son and the Devil Himself" and for a change it was cancelled. Definitely I can't stay with that unresolved tidbit, I want to finish the story, so I'm going to read the Trilogy to be happy.
- Geralt of Rivia Saga
Continuing onto I don't want to make spoilers for this, since I watched both seasons of the series, but I do want to say that the character of Geralt caught me completely, but it seems to me that they take too long to bring out the new season and I again, I can't stay with this unresolved tidbit, so I plan to read at least 3 books of that long saga.
- Of Blood and Ashes
Jennifer L. Armentrout is one of my favorite writers, I quickly become addicted to her stories when I start a book written by her. Last year I wrote this book down as one of my readings, and in fact I started it, but I didn't finish it, I didn't really advance almost nothing due to my block, surely this will be my second reading of the year because I have read very good reviews about it and I also want to know how excellent is this fantasy story.
- The Vampire Diaries
Si, ya se, yo otra vez con la eterna historia de Crónicas Vampíricas, pero honestamente estoy perdidamente enamorada de todo ese universo y lo diferente que fue la serie, no me hace odiarla tampoco, también me gusta muchísimo pero ese es otro tema. Leí la saga principal de esta larga historia, pero la verdad es que me falta mucho por leer de la historia de Elena, Stefan y Damon, son 19 libros en total y lo no me he leído más de 5. Ese es motivo suficiente para terminar este año esta grandiosa saga o por lo menos para llegar hasta la mitad.
- E V A R B
Cambiando un poco el formato, y mencionando una historia de Wattpad, quiero leer un libro que fue muy sonado hace tiempo en redes sociales, una historia que involucra al Olimpo y a los Dioses. La verdad es que las historias sobre Dioses del Olimpo me llaman la atención porque el 90% esta llena de venganza, traiciones, drama y de todo un poco, así que creo que será una excelente lectura para este año.
- La Biblia de los Caídos
Y, de ultimo, pero no menos importante, quiero terminar una historia que empecé también el año anterior, pero que no termine porque honestamente lo olvide jaja. La Biblia de los caídos trata sobre un mundo normal pero con lado oculto sobrenatural, ángeles, demonios y otras criaturas extrañas. Realmente es una historia de las que me gustan muchísimo y planeo terminar esa saga este año.
- The Vampire Diaries
Yes, I know, me again with the eternal Vampire Chronicles story, but honestly I'm madly in love with that whole universe and how different the series was, it doesn't make me hate it either, I also like it a lot but that's another topic. I read the main saga of this long story, but the truth is that I still have a lot of Elena, Stefan and Damon's story to read, there are 19 books in total and I haven't read more than 5. That's reason enough to finish this great saga this year or at least to get to the half of it.
- E V A R B
Changing the format a little bit, and mentioning a Wattpad story, I want to read a book that was a lot of buzz some time ago on social networks, a story involving Olympus and the Gods. The truth is that stories about Olympus Gods catch my attention because 90% of it is full of revenge, betrayals, drama and a little bit of everything, so I think it will be an excellent read for this year.
- The Bible of the Fallen
And, last but not least, I want to finish a story that I also started last year, but didn't finish because I honestly forgot about it haha. The Bible of the Fallen is about a normal world but with a supernatural occult side, angels, demons and other strange creatures. It really is a story that I like a lot and I plan to finish that saga this year.
Estos son los libros que planeo leer este año, pero espero que no sean todos y que en el transcurso de los meses pueda encontrar historias que me atrapan y por fin salir de este bloqueo eterno que tengo encima desde hace mucho tiempo. Mi plan es leer un libro a la semana, se que puedo leer más pero no voy a empezar de golpe ya que puedo agobiarme, así que voy a tomarme las cosas con calma. Espero que les haya encantado mi entrada al concurso, nos leemos pronto!
These are the books I plan to read this year, but I hope they are not all of them and that in the course of the months I can find stories that catch me and finally get out of this eternal block that I have had for a long time. My plan is to read one book a week, I know I can read more but I'm not going to start all at once as I might overwhelm myself, so I'm going to take it easy.
