No sé qué pasó el año pasado, que me faltaron muchísimos libros que leí, y a las de sangre es uno de ellos. No sé así, o sea, recuerdan que el año pasado fue el Boom del libro Alas de Sangre de Rebeca Yarros , o el título en inglés Fourth Wing. La leí en su momento, y la verdad me gustó muchísimo. Recuerda que se los comenté en uno de esos posts que yo hacía hablándoles por encima de las lecturas del mes, en los Wrap Up. Cuatro estrellas bastante bueno, por cuestiones de gusto personal, no le colocan las cinco estrellas, pero de verdad que me gustó muchísimo y recuerdo que comencé a leer su continuación, pero aún no la he terminado y es por eso que justamente buscando como una reseña para recordar que me había gustado ese libro, me di cuenta de que nunca se las había publicado Así que hablemos un poquito sobre eso hoy.

I don't know what happened last year, but I missed out on a lot of books I read, and Aleras de Sangre is one of them. I don't know, I mean, remember that last year was the boom of Rebeca Yarros' book Alas de Sangre, or Fourth Wing in English. I read it at the time, and I really liked it a lot. Remember I mentioned it in one of those posts I used to do talking about the month's readings, in the Wrap Ups. Four stars, pretty good, for reasons of personal taste, I didn't give it five stars, but I really liked it a lot and I remember that I started reading the sequel, but I haven't finished it yet, which is why, while looking for a review to remind myself that I had liked that book, I realized that I had never published it. So let's talk a little bit about that today.

La premisa de este libro es un universo en donde existen los dragones, donde hay personas que entrenan para poder enlazarse con los dragones, hay otras que entrenan para hacer como sanadores, o para dedicarse a lo que son los libros. Y también hay diferentes personas que se encargan de las luchas en contra otras regiones, por cuestiones de magia, territorio, y también por personas que otro tipo de poderes y otro tipo de movilidad, como serían los grifos, para poder ganar más terreno y así luchar, que sería como los enemigos, básicamente en un principio. En este mundo hay una chica llamada Violet Sorrengail, que quiere ser escriba, pero su mamá a fuerzas la inscribe en el programa para tener un dragón básicamente. En este cuadrante ella conoce a un chico llamado Xaden Riorson, que sería nuestro protagonista muy Flow chico malo, sería el hijo de un señor que hace muchísimos años, se reveló y por eso fue asesinado, junto con otros grupos de personas que también son hijos de personas que se revelaron en su pasado. Obviamente, todo le dice a Violet, que debe que no se debe a él, pero del destino, los mismos dragones y todo conspira a que ellos no se junten. Básicamente, en el primer libro conocemos la vida de Violet el cuadrante, cómo va entrenando tanto su cuerpo como su mente para poder ser jinete de dragón, o de dragones, y su relación o futura relación con Xaden, además también de muchísimos secretos.

The premise of this book is a universe where dragons exist, where there are people who train to bond with dragons, others who train to be healers, or to devote themselves to books. There are also different people who are responsible for fighting against other regions, for reasons of magic, territory, and also for people with other types of powers and other types of mobility, such as griffins, in order to gain more ground and thus fight, which would be like enemies, basically at first. In this world, there is a girl named Violet Sorrengail who wants to be a scribe, but her mother forces her to enroll in the program to basically have a dragon. In this quadrant, she meets a boy named Xaden Riorson, who is our very bad boy protagonist. He is the son of a man who rebelled many years ago and was killed for it, along with other groups of people who are also the children of those who rebelled in the past. Obviously, everything tells Violet that she should not be with him, but fate, the dragons themselves, and everything conspires to keep them apart. Basically, in the first book, we learn about Violet's life in the quadrant, how she trains both her body and mind to become a dragon rider, or dragon riders, and her relationship or future relationship with Xaden, as well as many secrets.

OK, entonces eso sería como lo que trata el primer libro, sin muchos Spoiler, ya que es un libro bastante extenso que tiene muchas cosas para entretener y tener una historia bastante buena. Hay cosas que a mí no me gustaron, como leche que lo venden como un Enemies to Lovers, pero realmente no hay mucho de enemigo. Se supone que ellos se odian, porque sí y ya, por el pasado de sus papás y listo. Pero muy muy muy rápidamente, ellos se borran y OK está bien, es un amor muy bonito, pero se siente demasiado rápido. Aun así personaje de Xaden es genial, es un chico que controla las sombras que recuerda a Rhys de Acotar, pero debo decirles que Rhys es 1000 veces mejor. Aun así es un libro bastante entretenido, que tiene mucha fantasía, mucha acción, el mundo de magia se ve que tiene bastantes cosas y que, al ser introductorio, no nos muestran todo de golpe, pero nos prepara psicológicamente para que lo que se viene en el libro número dos. Llamamos muchísimo cuando leí este libro, porque te atrapas en el primer momento y es una lectura muy fluida. Para el libro, número dos se hace bastante pesado y lento, pero ya después de pasar la primera mitad es una historia que engancha. Y si a ustedes también les encanta la fantasía como a mí, obviamente van a amar a este libro. Espero conocer esta reseña, la verdad la hace muchísimo tiempo, nos leemos pronto!

OK, so that's what the first book is about, without too many spoilers, as it's quite a long book with lots of entertaining elements and a pretty good story. There are things I didn't like, such as the fact that it's marketed as an Enemies to Lovers story, but there's not really much enemy about it. They're supposed to hate each other, just because, because of their parents' past, and that's it. But very, very quickly, they get over it, and OK, fine, it's a very beautiful love, but it feels too fast. Even so, Xaden's character is great, he's a boy who controls shadows, reminiscent of Rhys from Acotar, but I have to tell you that Rhys is 1000 times better. Even so, it's a pretty entertaining book, with a lot of fantasy, a lot of action, and a magical world that seems to have a lot going on. Since it's an introduction, they don't show us everything at once, but they prepare us psychologically for what's to come in book two. I cried a lot when I read this book, because it grabs you right from the start and is a very fluid read. The second book is quite heavy and slow, but after the first half, it's a story that hooks you. And if you love fantasy as much as I do, you're obviously going to love this book.
