Para culminar con una de las sagas que tenía pendiente, la cual es la saga impidió de Rebeca Yarros, estoy leyéndome el último libro que se llama ónix, Storm o tormenta de ónix, creo que en español, lo tradujeron como alas de ónix, o si no me equivoco para seguir con esta línea de títulos “Alas de” caso que a mí realmente no me gusta, pero fue decisión de la editorial. Éste libro la verdad yo quería leerlo. Hace bastante tiempo porque es el último que está publicado y en definitiva pasan cosas muchísimo más interesantes que en el segundo libro, ya que se desarrolla mejor una trama que yo estaba esperando y me gustó mucho, puedo adelantarles eso, les quiero dar mis opiniones muy por encima sin indagar de demasiado, ya que no quiero hacerte demasiadas spoilers. Este es un tercer libro de un asado, así que tendrá algunos, pero no se puede hacer mucho.

To finish off one of the series I had pending, which is Rebeca Yarros' Impeded series, I am reading the last book called Onyx, Storm, or Onyx Storm. I think in Spanish, they translated it as Wings of Onyx, or if I'm not mistaken, to continue with this line of titles, “Wings of,” which I really don't like, but it was the publisher's decision. I really wanted to read this book. It's been a while because it's the last one that's been published, and ultimately, much more interesting things happen than in the second book, since it develops a plot that I was waiting for and I really liked it. I can tell you that much. I want to give you my opinions without going into too much detail, since I don't want to give away too many spoilers. This is the third book in a series, so there will be some, but there's not much you can do about that.

Después de todos los eventos de hierro, seguimos la historia de Violet, que tiene que hacer un viaje para buscar aliados, y también para indagar muchísimo en la especie de su segunda dragona, que es Andarna, una dragona que comenzó siendo bastante pequeña y que va creciendo, y también su persona se va desarrollando. Por otro lado, su relación con Xaden se vuelve a complicado, ya que evidentemente él con su condición, para no decirles mucho, tiende a tener mucha dificultad para estar en su entorno, estar cerca de ella y también el ambiente en el que les ponen los obliga a, digamos, separarse o por lo menos públicamente. Aun así, la personalidad de violeta se desarrolla mejor, se vuelve más líder, su vínculo con su dragón, se fortalece, y eso es muy importante. Por otro lado, a nivel de trama, los conflictos en Basgiath son súper complicados, y hay muchos secretos que se van revelando.

After all the events of Iron, we follow the story of Violet, who has to go on a journey to find allies and also to investigate the species of her second dragon, Andarna, a dragon who started out quite small and is growing, and whose personality is also developing. On the other hand, her relationship with Xaden becomes complicated again, since, obviously, with his condition, to say the least, he tends to have a lot of difficulty being around her, being close to her, and also the environment in which they are placed forces them to, let's say, separate, or at least publicly. Even so, Violet's personality develops better, she becomes more of a leader, her bond with her dragon strengthens, and that is very important. On the other hand, in terms of the plot, the conflicts in Basgiath are super complicated, and there are many secrets that are revealed.

Desde mi punto de vista al final del libro, es muy bueno. Si bien para la historia de amor no es lo más óptimo, a nivel de trama, de fantasía y de drama, siento que al final es muy ideal. Ya que pasan demasiadas cosas con respecto a Violet y Xaden, de Xaden con Sgaeyl (la dragona en Xaden), los venin, algunos jinetes desaparecidos, junto con seis huevos de dragón. Promesas, muchas promesas, también una carta. Siento que es perfecto, porque es un final abierto, muy digno de un tercer libro para que no se sienta como al final de más saga, sino que vienen muchísimas cosas más. Yo tengo entendido que estos son cinco libros, sé que la autora está escribiendo al cuarto libro actualmente, así que me imagino que lo tendremos como a eso del 2026, por la medida corta, capaz 2027. Estas es una de fantasía muy buena, y yo la recomiendo bastante, no es mi favorita de todas, pero sí me gusta mucho. Espero que les haya encantado conocer la reseña de este libro, nos leemos pronto!

I left my point of view at the end of the book; it's very good. While it's not the best for the love story, in terms of plot, fantasy, and drama, I feel that in the end it's very ideal. There's so much going on with Violet and Xaden, with Xaden and Sgaeyl (the dragon in Xaden), the venin, some missing riders, along with six dragon eggs. Promises, lots of promises, and also a letter. I feel like it's perfect because it's an open ending, very worthy of a third book so that it doesn't feel like the end of another saga, but rather that there's much more to come. I understand that there are five books, and I know that the author is currently writing the fourth book, so I imagine we'll have it around 2026, or maybe 2027, given the short length. This is a very good fantasy book, and I highly recommend it. It's not my favorite of all time, but I do like it a lot. I hope you enjoyed reading this book review. See you soon!
