Isn't it amazing to meet with your favorite fictional character on the street of your country.
It's a fantasy, daydreams right?
It was a hot and busy day in Oshodi, Nigeria. I was walking through the bustling streets, surrounded by the noise of cars honking. people shouting, and the enticing smell of street food. As I made my way through the crowd, I couldn't help but daydream about meeting my favorite fictional character, Barbie.
"Hello there! I heard there's a fan in Oshodi who wanted to meet me. Is that you?" Barbie asked with genuine excitement.
I could hardly believe my luck. "Yes, that's me! I've always admired you, Barbie. You've been such an inspiration to me."
Barbie's eyes twinkled with delight. "Thank you so much!
"Barbie, how did you end up here in Oshodi?" I blurted out, unable to contain my curiosity any longer.
She gazed at me, her expression filled with an enigmatic blend of amusement and wisdom. "Ah, my dear friend, the journey of a doll like me is never linear," she replied, her voice velvety smooth. "One moment I am in at glamorous penthouse, surrounded by luxury, and the next I find myself immersed in the vibrancy of Oshodi's bustling streets."
"But why Oshodi?" I pressed, my bewilderment growing. "And how did you adapt to this chaotic environment?"
Barbie flashed me a dazzling smile and replied, "Oh, I heard Oshodi is the happening place in Lagos, so I thought I'd check it out myself!"
Amazed, I inquired further, "But how on earth did you manage to travel from the United States to Nigeria?"
Barbie giggled, "Well, I have my ways, you know! My Dreamhouse has a teleportation device, and I thought, why not explore different parts of the world?"
Curiosity piqued, I asked her about Nigerian customs, well aware of how different they could be from those in the United States. Barbie confidently replied, "I always make an effort to learn about the places I visit. I've been reading up on Nigerian customs.
Can you imagine?
Well I'm Impressed, I wondered if Barbie had any Nigerian friends she planned to meet while here. Her eyes lit up as she replied, "Absolutely! I've connected with a few Nigerian Barbie fans who have been eagerly waiting for me. We're planning to have a mini Barbie convention right here in Oshodi!"
Eagerly changing the topic, I asked Barbie if she had tried any Nigerian cuisine yet. Barbie's face lit up with excitement as she exclaimed, "Yes! I recently had jollof rice, suya, and pounded yam with egusi soup. They were all delicious! I think my favorite was the jollof rice."
Curiosity got the best of me, and I wondered how Barbie was finding the hustle and bustle of Oshodi compared to other places she had been. She smiled and replied, "It's a vibrant and dynamic place, full of energy! I've visited many bustling cities, but Oshodi has its unique charm."
As our conversation continued, I asked Barbie if she planned to explore other parts of Nigeria or stick to Lagos. Barbie's eyes sparkled with excitement, "I have a whole list of places I want to visit in Nigeria but I will start from the beautiful beaches in Lagos.
Wow so amazing Siting next to my favorite fictional character, I wish I could just wake up from my dream, If it is a dream truly.
