Les comparto una receta para disfrutar en familia con los amigos o cuando te provoque un gusto diferente. Agregando ingredientes que suelo usar para el plato principal navideño de mi pais Venezuela: la hallaca, -les mostrare su preparación en otro publicación-. Hoy les traigo una pastel de vegetales exquisito, una opción `para disfrutar reunidos con los seres queridos.

𝐸𝑙 𝑐𝑎𝑝𝑖́𝑡𝑢𝑙𝑜 𝑑𝑒 ℎ𝑜𝑦 𝑠𝑒 𝑡𝑖𝑡𝑢𝑙𝑎: 𝑃𝑎𝑠𝑡𝑒𝑙 𝑑𝑒 𝑣𝑒𝑔𝑒𝑡𝑎𝑙𝑒𝑠 𝑐𝑢𝑏𝑖𝑒𝑟𝑡𝑜 𝑐𝑜𝑛 𝑝𝑎𝑝𝑎𝑠.

Lavamos las papas muy bien y las colocamos en una olla hasta que ablanden.

Lavamos los vegetales, en una vaporera o en agua hirviendo colocamos el brócoli, las vainitas, la zanahoria y la ahuyama

Picamos la cebolla, el pimentón, los ajos, las alcaparras y las aceitunas. Cortamos el calabacín, la berenjena, el maíz. Reservamos.

Para la salsa que acompañará nuestro pastel, en una bandeja colocamos los restos no usados de los ingredientes, salpimentamos con aceite de oliva, los llevamos al horno por un espacio de 40 minutos. Transcurrido el tiempo, los licuamos con aceite de oliva.

Con la ayuda de un tenedor tocamos las papas si están blanditas las retiramos para hacer el puré, reservando el agua. Le agregamos sal, pimienta orégano hasta hacer el puré la consistencia que deseamos, reservamos.

Verificamos los vegetales en la vaporera, retirando los que estén blandos y picar en cuadritos pequeños.

En una sarten caliente colocamos aceite de oliva y agregamos los aliños junto con el maíz, impregnándose los sabores vamos removemos añadiendo el calabacín, berenjena. Luego integramos el resto de los vegetales, salpimentamos, removemos.

Rectificamos la sal, agregamos el caldo de vegetales con la maizena -fécula de maíz- removemos hasta que espese.

Engrasamos un refractario y colocamos los vegetales. Cubrimos con el puré de papas esparciéndolo con cuidado hasta cubrir su totalidad. Por ultimo con un tenedor abrimos surcos a su alrededor, llevamos al horno por 30 minutos.

Retiramos del horno, esperamos que enfríe un poco y servimos, con la salsa.

I share with you a recipe to enjoy with family, friends or whenever it provokes a different taste. Adding ingredients that I usually use for the main Christmas dish in my country Venezuela: the hallaca, (I will show you how to prepare it in another post). Today I bring you an exquisite vegetable pie, an option to enjoy with your loved ones.

𝑇𝑜𝑑𝑎𝑦'𝑠 𝑐ℎ𝑎𝑝𝑡𝑒𝑟 𝑖𝑠 𝑒𝑛𝑡𝑖𝑡𝑙𝑒𝑑: 𝑉𝑒𝑔𝑒𝑡𝑎𝑏𝑙𝑒 𝑝𝑖𝑒 𝑡𝑜𝑝𝑝𝑒𝑑 𝑤𝑖𝑡ℎ 𝑝𝑜𝑡𝑎𝑡𝑜𝑒𝑠.

Wash the potatoes very well and place them in a pot until they become soft.

Wash the vegetables, place the broccoli, green beans, carrots and pumpkin in a steamer or boiling water.

Chop the onion, paprika, garlic, capers and olives. Chop the courgette, aubergine and corn. Set aside.

---

For the sauce that will accompany our tart, place the leftover ingredients that we have not used in a tray, dress with olive oil and bake for 40 minutes. Once the time has elapsed, blend them and set aside.

With the help of a fork, if the potatoes are soft, remove them to make the mashed potatoes, reserving the water. Add salt, pepper and oregano until the potatoes are mashed to the desired consistency.

Check the vegetables in the steamer, remove any that are soft and cut into squares.

In a hot frying pan put olive oil and add the seasoning together with the corn, impregnating the flavours, stir and add the courgette and aubergine. Then add the rest of the vegetables, season with salt and pepper and stir.

Add salt to taste, add the vegetable stock, cornstarch, add the vegetables and stir until thickened.

Grease a glass baking dish and place the vegetables in it. Cover with the mashed potato, carefully spreading it out until it is completely covered. Finally, using a fork, make furrows around the potato and bake in the oven for 30 minutes.

Remove from the oven, allow to cool slightly and serve.
