Some of the recipes I made in India during my stay there organizing many things after three years we were very busy there, and internet and electricity problems couldn't get much time to post specially food posts. some photos I tried to upload in India ,they showing up now in the drafts.
Thinking about doing it now to use some of photos from my archive to have place in my laptop which getting jammed. and share some real Indian food recipes/goodies with you.
Ingredients for this recipe is only dried coconut and sugar cane jaggery. Jaggery which rich in Iron and benefits of coconuts overall health like bone health, metabolism for carbohydrate protein and cholesterol Antioxidant which protect body cells
200 gram sugar cane jaggery
800 gram grounded dried coconut
200 gram sugar cane jaggery
800 gram grounded dried coconut
In a deep pan added 2 spoon of water.
After water boiled added ground coconut and jaggery.
After stirred few minutes the mixture of coconut and jaggery started sticking together need continuously stirring to avoid burning the mixture.
When the mixture started releasing oil took off from heat and spread in a tray The coconut has lot of oil itself so i didn't use any oil to grease tray.
Pressed hot mixture in the plate to settle.
Some mixture i pressed in the round shape form/mold when it was hot.
After the mixture cooled and hardened I cut them into squares.
And took the others out of the mold.
And here is the result.
