Today I decided to make something very awesome with the bread fruits I bought. The recipe is not very different from our traditional breadfruit recipe but a little bit extra for more nutritional value. This recipe reminds me of My grandma. She loves breadfruit so much and I wanted to make it for my children hoping they'll like it and the know almost nothing about it and that is one if the reasons I bought it.
According to Wikipedia, breadfruit is a good source of dietary fiber, protein and other micronutrient.
Ingredient
3 cups of bread fruits
one bulb of onion
half teaspoon of salt
5g of cumin
Five stocks of utazi leaf
4 cloves of garlic
1 thumb size of ginger
Two tubers of carrots and
50 mL of palm oil
Three chili pepper
Recipe
Wash and boil the breadfruits for about 20 minutes or until very tender.
While the breadfruit is boiling prepare order ingredients are so cut the bell pepper in half, remove the seeds and slice them; slice the carrots; peel and dice the garlic; slice the onion; peel the ginger and pound it with the chili pepper; slice the leaves.
When the breadfruit is done , pour it out in a separate plate with the little water in it and dry the pot. After this, pour in the oil and other ingredients except the leaves stiring them as you are putting in the ingredients.
When everything is ready about 5 minutes put in the breadfruits and stir it.
After about 3-4 minutes turn off the heat and garnish with the leaves.
The water that was left in the breadfruit made it soupy and not dry.
This recipe is so easy to prepare and it taste delicious .
