Fruit salads are among the best salads I love so much and there this particular recipe my aunt used to make for us that I loved so much. So I decided to make it myself. I got a few fruits from the market and dived in to it and in less than a few minutes I had a very delightful fruit salad combo, 100% vegan amd super tasty and delicious.
So below I'll share with you how I made it and all the fruits I used for it.
Ingredients
- 1/4 bunch of watermelon
- 1 medium size coconut
- 3 cucumbers
- 1 orange
- 1 handful roasted peanut
- 10 sticks of banana

I started by cracking and grating the 3/4 of the coconut because we're working with the milk. The rest will be added to the salad

Next I was done with grating the coconut, I added the coconut water to it and sieved it out to get the milk

Next I was washing each fruits properly. First I washed and sliced the watermelon and bananas

I also added the coconut, cucumber, orange and peanuts.
While that was done, I stirred all the fruits together and poured in the coconut milk to it
At this point I was done and it was looking really beautiful and colorful. I loved the beautiful colors of it. But I loved the taste mostly.
I scooped it to my favorite plate and sprinkled some of the coconut chaff to it which was still super tasty as I didn't extract all the milk from it

The fruit salad turned out just the way I used to love it, creamy, fresh crunchy and so full of flavor.
The blend of coconut milk with juicy fruits and roasted peanuts gave it that perfect balance of sweetness and texture. And also it is 100% vegan and so easy to make.
