hello Vegan friends in this community. Are you still consistent with vegan food and starting your healthy life gradually? I used to think that enjoying Veganism would be torturous and wouldn't be delicious at all, like a goat that eats grass and can't enjoy life, but it turns out I was wrong, the more days I studied and practiced it, it turned out that more and more delicious recipes were created by themselves and my body also became better. It's easy to make, especially for me who doesn't do enough exercise so diet is something that plays a very important role in my daily life.
When I was a teenager, if I made a cake, I would never miss the main ingredients such as eggs, flour, large amounts of granulated sugar, cake leavener and softener as well as sweet toppings, but nowadays I make more and more recipes using flour substitutes. which is of course much tastier and much healthier of course. like the one I made now which doesn't require all the ingredients I mentioned above and I made new ingredients for my current cake.
The ingredients I need to make my cake recipe tonight are:
1. 500 grams of sweet potato.
Sweet potatoes have various colors, including purple, yellow and white, but to support the cake recipe I use yellow sweet potatoes so the color is more beautiful when mixed with chocolate.
2. 150 grams of chocolate bars
here I use chocolate bars with a composition that does not contain sugar and uses premium Vegan Chocolate ingredients so the chocolate tastes a little more bitter
How to make this recipe is:
1. The first step is to prepare the sweet potatoes, then peel the skin, wash until clean, then cut into several pieces, then steam in a preheated steamer, steam for approximately 10 minutes for really soft sweet potatoes.
2. When the sweet potato was steamed, I also steamed the chocolate bar which I had previously cut into small pieces, so that when the chocolate bar melted the sweet potato was also cooked.
3. After the sweet potato is cooked, I lift it and transfer it to a slightly larger container and soften it using a rice spoon.
4. Once it's soft, I mix in the melted chocolate, but only half to enhance the color, and I leave half the melted chocolate to make the cake topping later.
5. After the sweet potato and chocolate are completely combined, then put them into the mold and I flatten it so that the mold is solid and there are no cavities in it, then mix the remaining chocolate onto the mold.
6. Let it sit until the sweet potato and chocolate are cold, then store it in the refrigerator so that the chocolate sets quickly and doesn't melt.
7. After 2 hours the chocolate can be removed from the refrigerator and can be enjoyed... sprinkle with sesame seeds or other toppings that you like.
My recipe is very easy, right? And have you ever used a recipe like this with other ingredients?
Easy recipe without sugar, flour and leaveners and softeners but the results do not disappoint, it is deliciously soft and filling and of course much healthier. follow my next post with another new recipe and greetings from maytom, Indonesia
