Last Saturday the Indonesian Red Cross held a blood donation for anyone who wants to donate blood for humanity. Including me, who gladly and regularly donate my blood every 6 to 1 year. However, last Saturday I had to swallow disappointment, because during the examination my blood hemoglobin was too low, and I just realized that the dizziness I was experiencing was due to my very low hemoglobin. Finally I decided to buy vitamins and pay attention to my food intake, and I decided to consume more green beans as a support intake that entered my body.
I really like green beans and these green beans can be used as a variety of delicious menus, ranging from sweet desserts, crunchy snacks which are often called Peyek, or can also be used as main dishes. And for the next 1 week I will process these green beans into several food menus so that it is not boring for me to consume them. And today I will make green beans into a simple pudding without having to have trouble processing it.
The first thing I did was I bought the green beans first, and because I didn't know the quality of the green beans I bought, to make it easier I had to soak the green beans first and the green beans that floated were poor quality green beans. Soak the green beans for about 1 to 2 hours so that when boiled, the green beans become softer faster.
And during the process of boiling green beans, the thing that must be considered is not to mix any ingredients into boiling green beans before the green beans break, if during the boiling process we have added salt, or other ingredients, the green beans will not break and certainly not will ripen. Boil the green beans for about 10 to 15 minutes on medium heat or until the green beans are cracked.
While waiting for the boiling process to finish, we can prepare other ingredients, namely 1 pack of colorless gelatin, 1 pack of 65 ml instant coconut milk, 5 tablespoons of granulated sugar or according to taste. half a tablespoon of cornstarch so that the jelly is not too mushy when removed from the dough. then 200 ML of water or the equivalent of 2 glasses. so that the pudding color is not too pale I also add half a teaspoon of green coloring for food.
How to make this pudding is very easy. After the green beans are broken, then you can drain the green beans, after mixing the agar powder, sugar, instant coconut milk, meizena flour and water into the pan, then cook over medium heat, don't forget to add the green coloring so that the pudding doesn't stop. too pale in color, stir constantly until the pudding boils, then you can take it out and put it in the mold, wait until it cools you can put it in the refrigerator or you can just enjoy it.
This pudding is very soft and tastes very good, the sweetness is not too much because I don't really like sweet food. On the outside of the gelatin powder package, the actual usage rules are one pack for 4 cups of water, but I only use 2 cups of water so that the pudding that I produce is not too soft and easy to remove from the mold.
