Regardless of how the celebrations and traditions are made, of course there is one thing that cannot be left behind, namely eating. However, how can we serve delicious and healthy food without torturing them, especially for families who have to pay attention to their health due to age. And of course we need to make food that is soft but delicious to be enjoyed by all ages.
Because of this, today I will make fried snacks, especially for us Indonesians, fried food is a very common food, it's okay to eat fried food occasionally if we don't like fried food, but not too often because you can cause cholesterol later. The food that I made today is very easy to make but it takes a little longer compared to the foods that I often made before. Because it requires several stages in the process. However, to save time you can do them simultaneously.
For the contents of tempe you need several ingredients, namely:
1. 1 stick of tempeh
2. Celery leaves to taste
3. salt to taste
4. Pepper powder to taste
5. big red chili to taste (or you may not use)
6. 1 red onion
7. a clove of garlic.
8. Some chopped carrots
How to make the ball filling material:
1. Cut the tempeh into small pieces until it is a little close to the word smooth
2. Blend the red chilies, shallots, garlic and salt
3. Sauté the ground spices then after it smells good add the tempeh
4. Add the carrots, stir until smooth and mix in the chopped celery leaves until smooth.
5. Add just a little water and stir until the tempe wilts for about 5 minutes over low heat.
6. Once cooked, remove and set aside first.
For leather, we only need 2 kinds of ingredients, namely:
1. 500 grams of sweet potato
2. 100 grams of flour
How to make :
1. Peel the sweet potato and wash it using water until clean.
2. Next, cut the sweet potato with a small amount so that it cooks faster.
3. Steam the sweet potato for about 10 minutes using low heat
4. Once cooked, remove the sweet potatoes from the steamer and transfer them to a slightly larger container
5. While the sweet potato is still hot, mash the sweet potato using the bottom of a glass
6. After the sweet potato is smooth, mix in the flour so it can lift the dough when it is fried later.
7. Mix until the mixture is evenly mixed.
8. After that, take the dough little by little then flatten it and fill it with the tempeh that was stir-fried earlier.
9. Then close again and form a round, and so on until all the dough is used up.
10. After all the dough is used up, prepare the cooking oil.
11. Fry the sweet potato balls over low heat and remove when the balls have turned slightly brown in color.
12. You can serve sweet potato balls
13. You can season it while it's hot or you can save it first because this dish won't harden.
