So today I made this delicious and healthy snacks for morning tea serve as breakfast and I made this snacks with coconut.
I have this leftover coconut so I decided to use my coconut for something delicious and healthy for the hole family and after making this snacks I give my neighbor who use to make snacks for a living for her to have a tasty of a different type she did and like my snacks and was like how did I think of this because is mine blowing.
Let's see the ingredients I used in making my snacks or buns as we popularly called it here.
INGREDIENTS USED
2 cups of flour
1/2 coconut
1/2 tablespoon of yeast
Salt to taste
2 tablespoon of sugar
1 cup of groundnut oil for frying
Water.
PROCEDURE
This process is very easy and simple
I will first remove my coconut from the shells, wash and cut into smaller size and blend I will blend without water but if water comes out after blending I will still use the water.
In a dry pot I will fry my coconut, and I will keep the water because I will be using it.
Here am done frying my coconut.
In a bowl I will put my flour, add salt, sugar and yeast I will mix them together and now add my fried coconut .
After mixing them together I will add my coconut oil and mix till my flour turns smooth and strong.
I will now mound them .
In a dry pot and on a low heat I will add my groundunt oil, and now put my mounded snacks and fry.
Here my coconut snacks or buns is ready.
I will enjoy my snacks with my hot tea and can be also enjoyed with chilled soft drink.
Looking at this snacks is very simple, delicious, healthy and enjoyable.
