Happy Sunday and greetings to everyone here, how are you all doing I hope you all are doing well as for me and my family we are doing wonderfully well.
Today I traveled to the village to see my mother so she took me to her farm to see how her corn is doing because is farming season and I plug of her corn I will cook for my family.
Corn is enjoyed with so many things like our local sauce
Coconut and our local pear which we call UBE.
What is UBE?
UBE is our local pear with the name African pear some countries also call it bush pear, purple pear, butter fruit and the botanical name of UBE is Dacryodes Edulis.
INGREDIENTS USED
15 piece of corn
15 piece of African pear
Salt to taste
Water.
PROCEDURE
Corn
My corn is already removed from the shells I will now wash because of sand put in my pot add water and cook.
After some minutes I will now add salt to my corn tasty.
I will now cook for more some minutes so that the salt will enter into my corn very well.
Here my corn is ready.
African pear
I will wash my pear, put in a clean and add hot water, add salt cover and allow for some minutes.
Here my pear is soft and ready to enjoy with my corn.
