Soy sauce do have a special flavor in meals and dishes and as a vegan π± lover I love to enjoy soy sauce in soups especially when making soupy meals with extraordinary taste.
And today I invite you vegan lovers to prepare this special soy sauce with veggies potatoes meal for a delicious lunch recipe π₯. Using soy sauce as vegan in meals π₯ helps make me avoid adding margarine or vegetable oil , which also helps reduce fat and cholesterol. And with soy sauce, the meal taste extraordinary.
As foodies , we will always want to prepare different kind of dishes from simple and every day ingredients which at all times turns into something new as a recipe. The veggies I added is to give this meal greens π₯¬ for that soup texture and flavor . Adding vegetables to meals, especially those that contains carbs makes them more healthy and nutritious .
This meal is best served warm as lunch π₯and can also be cooked as a family dinner in a larger quantity with according to number of servings. Its delicious π€€ and warming for a cold day too.
Below I show you the steps for the preparation of this soy sauce veggie potatoes.
INGREDIENTS: ( Two Serving)
1 large and small size potatoes Couple of pumpkin leaves π 1 tablespoon of tomatoes paste 1 small size onions 1 hot chili pepper 1/2 teaspoon of dry thyme 1/2 teaspoon of curry powder 11/2 tablespoons of soy sauce 1/8 teaspoon of salt
STEPS FOR PREPARATION:
Step 1.
First we cut, peel and square cut the potatoes
As above.
Step 2.
We wash the potatoes and keep readily
Step 3.
We wash and cut the pumpkin leaves π , the onions and hot chili.
Step 4.
Next we pour the potatoes in a pot, add water and set it on the cooker, adding salt.
Step 5.
Cover to start boiling and cook half way.
Then we add our curry powder,
Stir and cover to cook on
Step 6.
In a while we add the chopped pumpkin leaves π, onions π§ and hot chili πΆ .
Stir to incorporate all the ingredients together.
Step 7.
We quickly add the soy sauce to avoid over cooking the veggies for more vitamin.
We stir and bring it down to serve.
Soy sauce in one flavor sauce that brings richness in our meals when added in the right way. Its always right to know the exact measurement to add to food π₯ every time we cook with it to avoid our food being over salty which is why I also cut down on the salt ingredient.
