Because the pandan aroma is so appetizing, today I will make pandan agar agar and coconut milk agar agar, I will make it in two layers with two different flavors.
The ingredients that I use to make two-layer jelly consist of two parts.
The first part / the first layer is:
1 pack of agar-agar, choose the green one
500 mL of water
8 pandan leaves (take the dark green part)
The first layer is a beautiful pandan agar layer, with a natural green pandan color and a natural pandan taste, which is a refreshing fresh taste, if you have never tasted it, the taste of pandan agar is like the taste of seaweed.
how to make the first layer with pandan flavor is :
1.Cut the pandan leaves into several parts to make it easier when we blend.
2.Wash the pandan leaves and put them in a blender.
3.Put the water into a blender then puree the pandan leaves with a blender.
4.Strain the pandan leaves that have been blended then take the pandan leaf extract.
5.Add the agar powder to the pandan extract, then stir until the powder is so that it doesn't clump.
6.it's time to cook the pandan agar agar until it boils, after that pour the boiling mixture into the agar agar mold, leave until the first layer cools and hardens.
7.We check using the top spoon so that, when it starts to harden then we can cook the second layer.
The second layer of agar cake has a sweet and savory taste, resulting in two tantalizing flavors. The ingredients that I use in the second layer consist of:
1 pack of agar agar
1 pack of instant coconut milk (65 mL)
100 grams of palm sugar/brown sugar
2 tablespoons of sugar
600 mL of water
The steps to make the second layer with coconut milk flavor are :
1.Cut the palm sugar into several pieces to speed up the dissolving process when cooked
2.Put the coconut milk in the pot
3.Put the agar powder into the pan
4.Put the pieces of palm sugar into the pan
5.Put the sugar in the pan
6.Add water to the pan, then stir the dough until there is no Agar agar powder that it clumps.
7.Cook until boiling and all ingredients are mixed.

8.After boiling, pour the second layer of dough into the first layer that has hardened, let it cool down and let it harden.
9.After both layers of agar have hardened, it's time to take them out of the mold.
Agar agar that two layers with two different flavors are ready to serve.
To enjoy this agar, we have to combine both layers when eating it, because the first layer has a bland taste and only has a pandan aroma, while the second layer has a sweet and savory taste with the scent of coconut milk.
