More information about me and an exciting new project I am working on called THRIVE.
First my background:
- I am a writer / content creator, and I have been active on this blockchain and it's predessessor for almost 6 years. My content has been focused on cryptocurrency, the blockchain, non-fungible digital tokens or NFTs, and decentralized finance.
- I am also an entrepreneur who has run several communities and a few financial opportunities which allowed commuity members to invest in decentralized finance opportunities and other unique financial tools on and off Hive, which used Hive tokens, which were Proof of Concept projects. These were No Loss Lottery and Easy DeFi, which ran about two years each.
Second Thrive
- I have made several observations about paths to success on Hive, and the path I called Curation is a simple, and low stress way to make consistent earnings and build your Hive Social and Business Network without some of the disappointment and emotional peaks and valleys common to the journey on Hive.
- While the concepts aren't complex, I have created a vehicle to magnify or enhance the size of success and the speed of success.
- The concept of a curation driven approach is simple to execute, but by designing a whole community focused on this concept I think the results in terms of earnings should be that earnings grow faster, your network grows faster and your time spent laboring in obscurity is reduced.
- Bloom is a Hive Community which asks people interested in focusing on the curation strategy pathway to success to join, the community, post their content, but more importantly read the content posted there, comment, upvote as you see fit. This means you execute a strategy focused on commenting and engaging, not content creation, with others who are focused on commenting and engaging, not content creation. This focus by the whole community magnifies the effect of an effective strategy, making it more effective.
- Because upvote income is 99% guaranteed and because income from commenting is about 50% in the general Hive Community, but since this community is focused on comments and engagement, I expect the percentage of upvotes on comments to be much higher.
- This strategy creates two effects: First a reliable income stream, which grows as you earn, buy, and power up your tokens. Second, it avoids the soul crushing time period for new community members to write posts and get no upvotes and no engagement. That is soul crushing and leads to many people quitting the platform and moving on.
Summary
- Curation is simple and reliable, and perfect for both old and new members.
- Comment, upvote, engage, but do it in a community where the focus is on commenting, engaging, upvoting, so you can use your time wisely.
- I have several thousand Hive and 100,000 Leo powered up, and I will read and upvote comments I like also.

If you comment and upvote authors and content creators consistently they will learn your name, reach out to you and become your friend. You become a valued member of their network. This is so much better then being a struggling new member, that nobody knows and nobody comments on your content or interacts with you at all. The difference is like night and day.
