Hello friends of Hive and the best family of collectors that exists, I greet you once again to show you something that my brother and I recently bought but not exactly for us, but for my nephew. Since here in Colombia school classes started this week, we decided to take a day to go out and buy part of the list of school supplies that my nephew asked for, among them the notebooks that are the central axis of these purchases.
For this adventure we went for a walk to a nearby shopping mall and very busy as there are stores of all kinds and although I did not take pictures of that outing I did not want to miss the opportunity to show you the notebooks we bought. These notebooks are not just any notebook, they are of a very famous character in the world of video games of which my nephew and I are very fanatic, I'm talking about Sonic the hedgehog.
We never thought that the planets would align to get something so cool in our search and there were so many designs and models of notebooks, but thanks to the clinical eye of my nephew, he found among so much visual variety, this treasure so precious to us. As far as I am concerned, I have played almost all Sonic video games, I have seen his animated series and movies and in the case of my nephew, who is 12 years old, he grew up playing with me the most modern games of our little blue friend and you can't imagine the hours of fun and joy we have had every time a new Sonic game comes out, those moments have been EPIC 🔥🔥🔥🔥.
But ok, let's cut to the chase, we bought 12 notebooks with amazing designs from the Colombian brand Norma; a very famous brand in stationery, school and office products. I had no idea that this brand had the rights to release Sonic notebooks and yes friends, they do. Even though not all the notebooks will be used by my nephew, we decided to buy all the Sonic notebooks and there is an additional notebook of another hero that we like, but I will let you discover who he is at the end of the post.

Hola amigos de Hive y de la mejor familia de coleccionistas que existe, les saludo una vez más para mostrarles algo que recientemente compramos mi hermano y yo pero no precisamente para nosotros, sino para mi sobrino. En vista de que aquí en Colombia iniciaron las clases en las escuelas esta semana, decidimos tomarnos un día para salir y comprar parte de la lista de útiles escolares que le pidieron a mi sobrino, entre ellos los cuadernos que son el eje central de estas compras.
Para esta aventura nos fuimos a pasear a un centro comercial cercano y muy concurrido ya que hay tiendas de todo tipo y a pesar de que no hice fotos de esa salida no quería perder la oportunidad de enseñarles los cuadernos que compramos. Estos cuadernos no son cualquier cuaderno, son de un personaje muy famoso en el mundo de los videojuegos del cual mi sobrino y yo somos muy fanáticos, les hablo de Sonic el erizo.
Jamás pensamos en que los planetas se alinearían para conseguir algo tan genial en nuestra búsqueda y es que habían muchísimos diseños y modelos de cuadernos, pero gracias al ojo clínico de mi sobrino, encontró entre tanta variedad visual, este tesoro tan preciado para nosotros. En lo que a mi concierne he jugado casi todos los videojuegos de Sonic, he visto sus series animadas y películas y en el caso de mi sobrino, que tiene 12 años, creció jugando conmigo los juegos más modernos de nuestro amiguito azul y no se imaginan las horas de diversión y alegría que hemos tenido cada vez que sale un juego de Sonic nuevo, esos momentos han sido ÉPICOS 🔥🔥🔥
Pero bien, vayamos al grano, compramos 12 cuadernos con diseños increíbles de la marca colombiana Norma; una marca muy famosa en papelería y productos escolares y de oficina. No tenía idea que esta marca tuviera los derechos para sacar cuadernos de Sonic y si amigos, los tiene. A pesar de que no todos los cuadernos los usará mi sobrino, decidimos comprar todos los que habían de Sonic y hay un cuaderno adicional de otro héroe que nos gusta, pero dejaré que ustedes mismos descubran quien es al final del post.

Let's start with this notebook; to put you in context there are 2 Sonics, one called classic Sonic (when he is little) and modern Sonic (the adult). I make this distinction because you will see both characters, which are the same, only that based on the story of the game, one is from the past and the other one is from the future. This is modern Sonic and I love the colors they used for the design as well as the typography. Something I really liked was that they used the old Sonic logo with a more modern one on the back of the notebook.
Empecemos por este cuaderno; para ponerlos en contexto existen 2 Sonics, uno llamado Sonic clásico (cuando es pequeño) y Sonic moderno (el adulto). Hago esta distinción porque verán a ambos personajes, que son el mismo, solo que en base a la historia del juego, uno es del pasado y el otro es el del futuro. Este es Sonic moderno y me encantan los colores que utilizaron para el diseño al igual que la tipografía. Algo que me gustó mucho fue que usaron el logo antiguo de Sonic con uno más moderno en la parte trasera del cuaderno.
In case you didn't know, Sonic's main ability is to run at amazing speeds. I'm sure they based this design on the game Sonic: Lost World for Nintendo Wii, where our blue friend had to run on different planets both big and small.
Por si no lo sabías, la habilidad principal de Sonic es correr a velocidades asombrosas. Estoy seguro que para este diseño se basaron en el juego Sonic: Lost World para Nintendo Wii, en donde nuestro amigo azul debía correr en distintos planetas tanto grandes como pequeños.
This notebook is very nice, its colors are based on Sonic's speed when he reaches the maximum running speed. Here we can appreciate his 2 faithful friends Tails (the orange fox) and Knuckles (the red echidna), besides they show them as teenagers.
Este cuaderno es bien bonito, sus colores se basan en la velocidad de Sonic cuando llega al máximo corriendo. Aquí podemos apreciar a sus 2 fieles amigos Tails (el zorro naranja) y Knuckles (el equidna rojo), además de que los muestran adolescentes.
I don't know if it happened to you the same as it did to me, but this design made me see Sonic in the Hive blockchain hehe, and without going that far, in one of the latest Playstation 4 games called Sonic Frontiers and in the Netflix series Sonic Prime, technology and multiverses are part of the story. I loved the image of Sonic on the back of the notebook and the retro style of it.
No sé si les pasó lo mismo que a mi, pero este diseño me hizo ver a Sonic en la blockchain de Hive jeje, y es que sin ir tan lejos, en uno de los últimos juegos para Playstation 4 llamado Sonic Frontiers y en la serie de Netflix Sonic Prime, la tecnología y los multiversos forman parte de la historia. Me encantó la imagen de Sonic en la parte de atrás del cuaderno y el estilo retro del mismo.
This design made me think of when Sonic first came out with the SEGA Genesis console and some later games that had this style of image. From this notebook I really like the union of dark blue with light blue and the word Sonic with a very nineties typography.
Este diseño me hizo pensar en cuando Sonic salió a la luz por primera vez con la consola SEGA Genesis y en algunos juegos posteriores que tenía este estilo de imagen. De este cuaderno me gusta mucho la unión del azul oscuro con el claro y la palabra Sonic con una tipografía muy noventera.
"Gotta go fast" is Sonic's slogan and it holds true to this day. It was impossible not to smile when I read it since there is a song from one of his animated series that makes use of this phrase. I quite liked the inclusion of the green color since Sonic runs a lot in open spaces where there is a lot of vegetation mainly.
"Hay que ir rápido" o "Gotta go fast" es el slogan de Sonic y que se mantiene hasta el presente. Fue imposible no sonreír cuando lo leí ya que hay una canción de una de sus series animadas que hace uso de esta frase. La inclusión del color verde me gustó bastante ya que Sonic corre mucho en espacios abiertos donde hay mucha vegetación principalmente.
This notebook is very cool and it is rare to see these colors (green and yellow) predominate so much in an image of Sonic, but they knew how to do it very well. The yellow has its origin in the rings, which are the ones that give Sonic life and speed, something like Mario and his coins and the star.
Este cuaderno es muy genial y es que es raro ver estos colores (verde y amarillo) que predominen tanto en una imagen de Sonic, pero la supieron hacer muy bien. El amarillo tiene su origen en los rings, que son aros que permiten darle a Sonic vida y velocidad, algo así como Mario y sus monedas y la estrella.
Another of Sonic's abilities, which is very emblematic in the game, is the ability to roll; this allows him to attack his enemies by air and ground and do a lot of damage to them. Here in this notebook we see a very old school gamer style and I am referring to the Tetris figures that are around Sonic which are amazing.
Otra de las habilidades que tiene Sonic y que es muy emblemática en el juego, es la de rodar; ésta le permite atacar por aire y tierra a sus enemigos y hacerles mucho daño. Aquí en este cuaderno vemos un estilo muy gamer de vieja escuela y me refiero por las figuras de Tetris que están alrededor de Sonic las cuales están asombrosas.
This image of Sonic is the best; every time he does this pose is because he is ready to fight. I was very struck by the yellow and orange color alluding to fire, which may mean that here Sonic is about to transform into Super Sonic.
Esta imagen de Sonic es la mejor; cada vez que él hace esta pose es porque está listo para pelear. me llamó mucho la atención el color amarillo y naranja aludiendo al fuego, lo que puede significar, que aquí Sonic está a punto de transformarse en Super Sonic.
Here are the first 9 notebooks, you will understand why I divided them in 2 groups hehe, but the reason is that here the images are of classic Sonic respectively, but relax, I will show you modern Sonic with more detail... Ok I didn't see this coming but our little friend wanted to be in the picture and I had no other choice but to let him 😅... just look...👇
Aquí están los primeros 9 cuadernos, ya entenderán por qué los dividí en 2 grupos jeje, pero el motivo es que aquí las imágenes son del Sonic clásico respectivamente, pero tranquilos, ya les mostraré a Sonic moderno con más detalle... Ok esto no lo veía venir pero nuestro amiguito quiso salir en la foto y no tuve otra opción que dejarlo 😅... solo miren...👇
These last 3 notebooks belong to Sonic's modern stage (as an adult) and they are spectacular, because we already see a Sonic with more attitude to run and fight, as well as his inseparable friends who help Sonic in his most difficult moments. Here already appears the newest Sonic logo; below I will show you a couple of games from which these images were based.
Estos últimos 3 cuadernos pertenecen a la etapa moderna de Sonic (ya adulto) y son espectaculares, porque ya vemos a un Sonic con más actitud para correr y luchar, al igual que sus amigos inseparables quienes prestan ayuda a Sonic en sus momentos más difíciles. Aquí ya aparece el logo más nuevo de Sonic; más abajo les mostraré un par de juegos en los cuales se basaron para estas imágenes.
But before we get to it, this is what the inside of the first 9 notebooks and the last 3 look like; all colorful and fantastic stickers that you can stick wherever you want, they are cool right?
Pero antes de pasar a ello, así luce el interior de los primeros 9 cuadernos y de los últimos 3; puras pegatinas coloridas y fantásticas que puedes pegar en donde lo desees, están chéveres cierto?
Well... I told you that I sent our little blue friend to get the games for the final photo, but I didn't imagine that he wanted to be in it 🙃
Bueno... les cuento que mandé a nuestro amiguito azul a buscar los juegos para la foto final, pero no imaginé que quería salir en ella 🙃
Collectors friends, it was an honor to show you these Sonic notebooks, however, I wanted to tell you that something happened before we left the store where we bought them. Looking on the shelf to see if there were more Sonic notebooks, we found one of the coolest super heroes that currently exist, I'm talking about Spiderman; I don't know if you know it, but in the current lore of movies, series and games of this hero, there is another Spiderman, who is the apprentice of the main one, whose real name is Miles Morales. This Spiderman is mind-blowing, he has his own movies and video games. This notebook is from another great brand called Scribe, I really liked its texture, colors and brightness; as you can see it also has some great stickers and if this is not enough, I leave in the final picture the video game on which they were based to make this design... I think you can understand why I bought it hehehe 😁

Amigos Collectors, fue un honor mostrarles estos cuadernos de Sonic, sin embargo, quería comentarles que algo pasó antes de que saliéramos de la tienda donde los compramos. Buscando en la estantería a ver si habían más cuadernos de Sonic, nos encontramos con uno de uno de los super héroes más geniales que existen actualmente, les hablo de Spiderman; no sé si lo saben, pero en el lore actual de películas, series y juegos de este héroe, hay otro Spiderman, que es el aprendiz del principal, cuyo nombre real es Miles Morales. Este Spiderman es alucinante, tienes sus propias películas y videojuegos. Este cuaderno es de otra gran marca llamada Scribe, me gustó muchísimo su textura, sus colores y su brillo; como pueden ver también trae unas geniales pegatinas y si esto no les parece suficiente, les dejo en la fotografía final el videojuego en el cual se basaron para realizar este diseño... creo que ya podrán entender por qué lo compré jejeje 😁
