Greetings, dear friends of Hive Collectors! I am happy to participate for the first time in this community and share my collection of musical instruments, an activity to which I was invited by my dear friend @jesuslnrs. This theme of the month, proposed by friend @mipiano, has turned out to be an exciting experience.
I don't know why, but those who have an instrument always want to have more. I don't know if it happens to other musicians, but in my case, as I had the opportunity, I acquired several that today I will show you.

Me alegra participar por primera vez en esta comunidad y compartir mi colección de instrumentos musicales, actividad a la que fui invitada por mi querido amigo @jesuslnrs. Este tema del mes, propuesto por la amiga @mipiano, ha resultado ser una experiencia emocionante.
No sé por qué, pero aquellos que tienen un instrumento siempre quieren tener más. No sé si les pasa a otros músicos, pero en mi caso, a medida que tuve la oportunidad, fui adquiriendo varios que hoy les mostraré.
My First Guitar:
I remember that this guitar, a Tatay, was originally bought by my mom for my brother who was taking his first steps in music. However, after he passed his teenage years, my brother didn't show much interest in pursuing the guitar, and it was relegated with only 3 strings. That's when I started playing it, even with only 3 strings. My mom noticed my interest and decided to give me a new set of strings. This guitar has a very strong emotional connection with me, as it was with it that I learned to play. Over the years, it has suffered a few knocks, even the neck broke, but I took it to be repaired and I still have it. Its sound is still exceptional.
Mi Primera Guitarra:
Recuerdo que esta guitarra, una Tatay, originalmente fue comprada por mi mamá para mi hermano que estaba dando sus primeros pasos en la música. Sin embargo, después de pasar su adolescencia, mi hermano no mostró mucho interés en seguir con la guitarra, y quedó relegada con solo 3 cuerdas. Fue entonces cuando comencé a tocarla, aún con solo 3 cuerdas. Mi mamá notó mi interés y decidió regalarme un juego de cuerdas nuevo. Esta guitarra tiene una conexión emocional muy fuerte conmigo, ya que fue con ella que aprendí a tocar. A lo largo de los años, ha sufrido algunos golpes, incluso llegó a partirse el mástil, pero la llevé a reparar y aún la conservo. Su sonido sigue siendo excepcional.
My Current Guitar:
Eventually, I decided it was time for a new guitar, and this time, I bought it myself. By then, I knew what I wanted: an electroclassical guitar that could be used both plugged in and unplugged. It was love at first sight when I saw the Admira, model Juanita, hanging in the store. This guitar has been with me for 16 years and I am still in love with it as the first day.
Mi Guitarra Actual:
Con el tiempo, decidí que era hora de una nueva guitarra, y en esta ocasión, la compré yo misma. Para entonces, ya sabía lo que quería: una guitarra electroclásica que pudiera usarse tanto conectada como desconectada. Fue amor a primera vista cuando vi la Admira, modelo Juanita, colgada en la tienda. Esta guitarra me ha acompañado durante 16 años y sigo enamorada de ella como el primer día.
My dad has a guitar, also a Tatay that belonged to my grandfather and then he passed it on to him when he turned 40 and everyone says that it will be my inheritance since of all his children I am the only one who continued with the tradition of playing the guitar. So, in the future, the guitar collection will grow and all of them will have an important place in my heart.<

My Electroacoustic Guitar:
The acquisition of a Fender T-Bucket 300ce was a major accomplishment for me. I bought it out of the country in 2015 through Amazon and it was worth the wait. I really enjoy its sound, especially when I get together with friends band style. I remember that, when I bought it, I also purchased an amp from the same Fender family. In short, it is one of my darlings, although all my guitars are special to me, as each one has marked an achievement in my musical life.

La adquisición de una Fender T-Bucket 300ce fue un logro importante para mí. La compré fuera del país en 2015 a través de Amazon y la espera valió la pena. Disfruto mucho de su sonido, especialmente cuando me reúno con amigos al estilo banda. Recuerdo que, al comprarla, también adquirí un amplificador de la misma familia Fender. En resumen, es una de mis consentidas, aunque todas mis guitarras son especiales para mí, ya que cada una ha marcado un logro en mi vida musical.
My Cuatro:
Continuing with stringed instruments, I present to you my Cuatro. Although I don't play it often, I usually use it in December to play in parrandas. I remember that I was attracted to its design when I bought it, with that little grimace on the bottom of the case, similar to guitars. Although I initially bought it to play in parrandas, I now enjoy exploring other types of songs on this instrument.
Mi Cuatro:
Siguiendo con los instrumentos de cuerdas, les presento mi Cuatro. Aunque no lo toco con frecuencia, generalmente lo utilizo en diciembre para tocar en las parrandas. Recuerdo que me atrajo su diseño cuando lo compré, con esa pequeña mueca en la parte inferior de la caja, similar a las guitarras. Aunque inicialmente lo compré para tocar en las parrandas, actualmente disfruto explorando otro tipo de canciones en este instrumento.
My Bass:
Stringed instruments seem to haunt me, or maybe it's me who haunts them. Among my collection, I also have a Phill Pro 4-string electric bass. It came into my life by the hand of my best friend, who also taught me the basics. After I started playing this instrument, I gained a great respect for it. Its sound brings a great depth to the songs, and although I am not a virtuoso on this instrument, I can handle it. The bass has challenged me to step out of my musical comfort zone, and I have a very special fondness for it.
Mi Bajo:
Los instrumentos de cuerda parecen perseguirme o tal vez sea yo quien los persigue a ellos. Entre mi colección, también tengo un bajo eléctrico de 4 cuerdas marca Phill Pro. Llegó a mi vida de la mano de mi mejor amiga, quien además me enseñó lo básico. Después de comenzar a tocar este instrumento, gané un gran respeto por él. Su sonido aporta una gran profundidad a las canciones, y aunque no soy una virtuosa en este instrumento, me defiendo. El bajo me ha desafiado a salir de mi zona de confort musical, y le tengo un cariño muy especial.
My Keyboard:
It is a Casio Tone Bank CT-670. Although I don't play it often, I bought it because I wanted to learn how to play it. I know the tones and on some occasions I have played with it for the Open Mic community. This instrument came into my life during my teenage years, when my cousins had abandoned it and were selling it. I asked my grandmother to give it to me, and she did. Despite not playing it often, it is in perfect condition and sounds great. Maybe this post will be a reminder for me to resume its study and fulfill my dream of playing it properly.
Mi Teclado:
Se trata de un Casio Tone Bank CT-670. Aunque no lo toco con frecuencia, lo compré porque deseaba aprender a tocarlo. Sé los tonos y en algunas ocasiones he tocado con él para la comunidad Open Mic. Este instrumento llegó a mi vida durante la adolescencia, cuando mis primos lo tenían abandonado y lo estaban vendiendo. Les pedí a mi abuela que me lo regalara, y así lo hizo. A pesar de no tocarlo a menudo, se encuentra en perfectas condiciones y suena muy bien. Tal vez este post sea un recordatorio para que retome su estudio y cumpla mi sueño de tocarlo como es debido.
Tumbadoras:
Strange that someone with mostly stringed instruments would have tumbadoras in their collection, but yes, they are mine. They are Cosmic Percussion Congas from the LP family. I bought them thinking about the band I was playing with at the time and the convenience of carrying tumbadoras instead of a drum kit. Although I am not a percussion expert, having them has allowed me to learn certain beats, especially the slower and simpler ones. I have also used them for some songs on Open Mic.
Tumbadoras:
Es extraño que alguien con la mayoría de instrumentos de cuerda tenga tumbadoras en su colección, pero sí, son mías. Se trata de unas Congas Cosmic Percusion de la familia LP. Las compré pensando en el grupo con el que tocaba en ese momento y en la conveniencia de transportar tumbadoras en lugar de una batería. Aunque no soy experta en percusión, tenerlas me ha permitido aprender ciertos golpes, sobre todo los más lentos y sencillos. También las he utilizado para algunas canciones en Open Mic.
Recorder:
Among my collection is a Recorder that dates back to my school days, when in music class we were asked to bring a recorder to start our musical journey. I still have it, it sounds great, but the truth is that I don't know much about this instrument.
Flauta Dulce:
Entre mi colección se encuentra una Flauta Dulce que se remonta a mi época de colegio, cuando en la clase de música nos pidieron llevar una flauta para iniciar nuestro camino musical. Aún la conservo, suena muy bien, pero la verdad es que no sé mucho sobre este instrumento.
And so concludes my collection of instruments, which, although compared to that of my dear brother @jesuslnrs is quite modest, each instrument has a special meaning for me. As @mipiano said, I had a lot of fun creating this post and sharing a little bit of the history of each one. I hope many more will be encouraged to participate, see you in the next post!
