Despite all the negative news about Iran, there are lots of interesting facts about this beautiful country.
1-Iran is one of the biggest countries in the world
Iran covers an area of 1,648,195 km2 (636,372 sq mi), making it the sixth-largest country entirely in Asia and second-largest in the Middle East (after Saudi Arabia). Its population is 85 million, the 17th most populous in the world (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iran)
2-It is one of the oldest nations too!!!
Even though Iran was reunified at the start of the 16th century, the country has a longer history of civilization than almost anywhere in the world. The Bronze Age Elamites were among the first to develop cuneiform writing in the third millennium BCE, and Proto-Iranian groups were already in the area by the second millennium BCE. The Achaemenid Empire, which dated from 550-330BCE, was the biggest empire in the world.

people usually eat boiled rice with khoreshts (Khoresht (Persian: خورشت‎, Sorani Kurdish: خۆرشت‎) is a generic Iranian term for stew dishes) for the lunch.
