I really wanted to share some photos of a special visit several weeks ago to a park here where I live, but I had been holding back because I thought that these photos “didn't look very good”. A big lie because in the end here at Hive there is always room for everything we can imagine (which is why you will also see me more often in your posts).
The particularity of this park is that beyond being a beautiful green space, it really invites you to stop and if you prefer, you can also take advantage of this visit to start practicing deep breathing. Because it is surrounded by giant trees that disconnect you from that rush so typical that offers the day to day in a city, so you can enjoy that perfect harmony that we can find between the natural and the urban...
Although the particularity of this park is that beyond being a beautiful green space, full of giant trees and with a super fresh air, it also has a very unique space ... a regional art gallery. So not only does it offer us a large green area to walk around with its respective architecture, it also invites us to visit it, and in my case, beyond appreciating it, I tried to capture some of its art with my phone.
And I confess that, upon entering, I was invaded by a sense of calm, because the color of its walls is mainly white, which favors the logistics with which the works of art were placed so that these are the only ones that stand out (although there was also a big noise, but with good energy, because in this gallery they also hold educational events for elementary and high school students).
Definitely, every corner was full of life, and each piece of art had something to say (that's why in more than one you could see a legend describing its composition), because for me this experience that offers us not only aims to present the regional culture and tradition, but also focuses on promoting and preserving it in a world that every day becomes more and more changing and full of artificial intelligence.
So I ended my visit feeling renewed, inspired and, above all, grateful to have in my city a space that celebrates art in such an open and accessible way. And more than a space for art, it is a great example of how in our country we continue to work to maintain our culture, education and contemporary Venezuelan art.
That's why, if you find yourself more than stressed by the routine of your city, I invite you to find that special place that allows you to connect with the most sacred thing we have, nature (and if, like me, it has art in the middle, all the better because you can enjoy a walk before going into that artistic world).
