What would you tell someone who is curious about Hive? Would you tell him that it's just a platform for people to blog and get paid, or that it's just a social blockchain that rewards content creators? Do you consider Hive to be merely a blockchain that powers cryptocurrency?
What about meeting new people who have absolutely no knowledge of blockchain technology or cryptocurrency? I think that's where where you would face some difficulty in trying break down or simplify a lot of concepts for them to grasp.
There is a lot to learn about Hive, the Hive blockchain expands its capabilities beyond just storing vast amount of content, which is only a fraction of what it can do. Currently, 163 projects have been built by the Hive community, many things are being done with each. So much is being done in the Hive ecosystem now, thus it's important to understand how powerful Hive is, how important it is to constantly to learn about it. I believe this will help so much when educating people about Hive.
I was given the opportunity to talk Hive during the Hive water project Launch at Agona-Bedomase. This was a privilege given to me by my colleagues (@mcsamm, @anaman, and @awuahbenjamin). They appeared anxious to learn more about Hive, which they had obviously heard a lot about. The chief, the elders, and the residents of the town eagerly anticipated a presentation like the one we made in the video.
I gave this presentation in both English and Twi-one of our local dialects. I kept it short and focused on the impacts Hive is making in Ghana that they needed to be aware. Below is the simple message about Hive the Impacts it is making:

Hive is a decentralised blockchain and ecosystem founded by diverse group of community members, developers and investors. Hive empowers communities, projects and people. What you see here is today is one of the many impacts Hive is making around the world.
This is the second project that has been built in Ghana by the Hive ecosystem and there will be many more of these to support communities that lack potable water.
We hope that this facility will be put to good use, well managed and maintained to ensure it's long term sustainance. On behalf of the Hive ecosystem, I would like to thank the chief and his elders, the Assemblyman for your warm reception and to everyone who is present here to grace the occasion.
I'm pleased with how everything went, and I hope that the Hive gospel can spread to more people in Ghana with all our promotional efforts. Hive flyers and stickers directing interested parties to Hive.io were distributed. Following the launch, there was more education to help clear up any misconceptions people may have regarding any online-related activities or businesses.
Those in different parts of the world can also join the campaign by sharing news of Hive impacts in Ghana on any media platform in order to increase Hive exposure. We want more people to know about Hive, which is why we are constantly thinking of new ways to market or promote Hive and get everyone involved in the revolution.
