This is my first vlog on this platform.
Today ill be shearing with you all how to prepare Afang soup. Afang soup originated from akwaibom state Nigeria and is now enjoyed by everyone. Its a nutritious dish with a lot of vitamins and minerals , it contains a lot of vegetables and is actually great for detoxification . its a balanced diet on its own but can be enjoyed with some carbs like garri(casava flaxes ) ,fufu, pounded yam etc.
For the soup you would need the following:
*water leaf
*uguh leaf
*okazi leaf
*some meat
*fish
*palm oil
*seasoning cubes.
- pepper
*onion
*crayfish
*goat meat seasoning.
*periwinkle
*salt to taste
*and balck pepper flaxes.
STEP1.
Blend the onion ,crayfish,red pepper together. Wash and slice your water leaf and uguh leaf. Grind or blend your okazi leaf.
STEP2.
Put your meat and half of your seasoning into the pot,add the blended mix and sprinkle a hand full of ungrounded crayfish. Cook the meat till tender. Transfer To a bowl add some palm oil and one seasoning cube,put the water leaf in and stair well . allow to fry for 5 minutes then pour your grinded okazi leaf am mix well then add your uguh mix and allow to steam for 3 minutes. Add you meat stock and your meat, add some seasoning if needed and allow to cook for 5 minutes and its ready to be eaten with any carbohydrate of your choice or by its self. Enjoy.
