Dear Universe,
You have been here eternally, creating and shaping. Expanding, spiraling in momentum. Each and every part of you works in synchronicity.
You gave us the sun, our mother Earth, and the moon. That, in turn, gave us life. From the inner workings of our planet to the vast expanse of all that surrounds us. You gave us the moon to compliment our mother and help her keep the balance of life in check.
We are gifted with conscious awareness of all the wonder and beauty. Our eyes are the windows that we, from within, see the outside world.
Our bodies are vessels to experience this world, our mother earth. She, guided by the sun and the moon, work in harmony to provide us with sustenance for all life that exists here.
Our gift of consciousness, our intrinsic connection to the inner and outer fractals allow us to be the earth keepers. The observers and guardians of all life. Realizing that we are not above or more worthy than other life forms, but a part of the whole system in the fabric of all that we are.
We are a minority, spread across continents from the busy cities to the far reaches of the mountains, rivers, oceans, and lands. Yet we are strong in our oath to protect and preserve.
Please forgive those whose ancestors were also once like us, but have forgotten that they too are part of the connection. Sometimes the gift of consciousness comes with a price. When separated from our oneness, it is easy for their egos to forget the journey from where we have come.
Rest assured that although they have forgotten, they are the yang to our yin. They remind us to stay grounded and to not stray from the path of protection.
We as earth keepers, promise to help promote the sustainability of all life on this planet. Our work here isn't always easy and some try to stop us. But we stay grounded and strong in our mission.
We go forth with love in our hearts and empathy in our souls. We care to help all life thrive and continue along your journey of expansion. Sometimes we are weary, but you give us the strength to keep on. The gentle reminders.
When the seeds pop and the animals grow in numbers, when trees repopulate and her waters run clearer. When we unite and celebrate our differences, when the people come together, these are all the signs that make it all worthwhile.
These are the little glimpses that show us our work here is not in vain.
We mourn the losses with a rebirth of understanding. This enables us to look for solutions to make things better. Whilst this hurts us deeply, we understand that we need to feel this depth of pain to move forward and live the solutions.
We understand that this is all part of your design.
We trust you, The Universe, and thank you for this journey that you have given us.
