When we first got to the place where the lighthouse of Vik is, I was stunned by the harsh and natural beauty of this place. This is at the cape that is close to the town with the same name, Vik, in Southern Iceland.
So I started taking photos right there, without leaving the driver seat! :)
I saw so many beautiful scenes around. We were planning to just pay a quick visit to the place but in fact we remained there until the night came and we enjoyed the sunset, as you'll see below. The magnitude of the natural wonders around is amazing! I also enjoyed a lot spending some time for birdwatching. Puffins are so beautiful and colorful. Also, they are wonderful and relentless fishers :) So, sooooooooooo cute as well!
I didn't make that good first photo straight from the first push of the shutter button, as you could see, hehehe. There were few tries before it as sometimes it is tricky to get the best and right focus in this conditions. At a certain time another car parked next to us so I had to move ours. Nevertheless, I am happy with the first photo from this series.
