Have you seen what a wind farm looks like up close? It's a bit like the photos below. This one is located on a very large field of several dozen hectares. There are a dozen or so windmills like that. They are placed among fields, meadows, sown with grain, potatoes. Last summer I decided to go and see them up close. I wonder how they transmit electricity? That is, the way electricity is transported. There are no overhead lines, only windmills, so the transmission is probably some cables buried deep in the ground, because people here cultivate this land.

Zastanawiam si臋 jak przesy艂aj膮 pr膮d? Tzn. spos贸b transportowania pr膮du. Nie ma 偶adnych linii napowietrznych tylko same wiatraki, wi臋c przesy艂 pewnie jest jakimi艣 kablami zakopanymi g艂臋boko w ziemi, bo przecie偶 ludzie tutaj uprawiaj膮 te ziemi.
How big are they? They don't seem that big when you see them from a distance. Coming closer, this thought changes - from a short distance, they are huge. The windmill blades are suspended very high, when you get right up to the windmill, you can hear them quite loudly when they rotate, but you can talk without any worries, the sound is not drowning out. If I were to compare the sound of the windmill, it would be a bit like a fast-passing car, every time one of the three blades approaches the supporting structure, you can hear a noise as if a car was approaching quickly and then driving away. Out of curiosity, I checked on the internet how wide such a blade is, the dimensions are about 10-25 meters wide for typical power plants in Poland.

What can you see at the windmill? Well, it's quite dirty in general. There's a dirt road by most of these windmills and it's probably a fairly common place to relax. Is it a good place for a walk with children? Yes and no, because it's a very interesting place, you can go up to the platform and see the area from above. But the trash is the number one problem - it's quite unusual, it shows up for male-female trysts. A child might ask you why there are so many cut-off rubber fingers from gloves :D
Co mo偶na zobaczy膰 przy wiatraku? C贸偶, og贸lnie jest do艣膰 brudno. Przy wi臋kszo艣ci z tych wiatrak贸w jest jaka艣 droga polna i chyba jest to do艣膰 cz臋sty przystanek relaksu. Czy jest to dobre miejsce na spacer z dzie膰mi? I tak i nie, bo jest bardzo ciekawie miejsce, mo偶na wej艣膰 sobie na podest i zobaczy膰 okolic臋 z g贸ry. Ale 艣miecie to problem numer jeden - s膮 do艣膰 nietypowe, pokazuj膮 na schadzki m臋sko damskie. Dziecko mo偶e Ci zapyta膰, dlaczego tutaj jest tyle uci臋tych gumowych palc贸w od r臋kawiczek :D
