There are some commandments that are not meant to be forever. Some of these commandments are meant for a short time so we should know or differentiate the ones that last forever and the ones that are for the main time.
In the Bible, Genesis 1:28 states that; And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
If God can tell us to take over all of the things on the earth, why then do we not have to eat pork? We can eat it but truly, there was a time when some set of people were given a rule of not eating pork.
And this rule were given by God to the Israelites. The rule doesn’t apply to everyone on earth and there is a reason behind it. God made it clear to the Israelites that they should not eat some certain foods.
It’s a rule of God. It’s not a permanent rule and at the same time, this rule doesn’t apply to every Christian.
