Hello MCGI. It's was an amazing time as we kick started the MCGI Mass Indoctrination today. Brother Eli went deep into the doctrines of Jesus Christ that is meant for every believer to follow.
We learn in 1 Timothy 6:3 that If peradventure a man should teach doctrines that is contradictory to that of the Lord's, such person is considered to be a proud person. He may think that he knows what he teaches, but the truth is that he knows absolutely nothing.
As Believers, we should seek to know the truth. It is better the know the truth than to believe a lie. The bible made us know that the truth will set us free. Therefore, we should hold unto the truth in God's word and not some lies that proceeds out of the mouth of a man.
Paul was speaking in Galatians 1:13 of how he persecuted the church when he was yet to be converted. But after having an encounter with Christ, He never failed to teach the true doctrines of Christ to the ends of the earth at all cost. Some people may be in other kinds of religion, but when converted they commence a fresh start with God.
May God bless us through this teaching, amen.
