We learnt about what a ture church of God should be called.
Bro Eli took us through scriptures showing us what a ture church should be called because the church is owned by God and also founded by God it was shown to us by the scriptures that the church should be called the church of God. Or church of Christ
Roman 16 : 16 here the bible is telling us to come together as one body in the church of Christ.
Matthew 16 : 18 here Christ Jesus was talking to Peter saying that he Christ shall build his church and the gate of hell shall not prevail again it that is Christ Jesus telling us that the church is his church so the church must be named in accordance to the bible because the bible is the word of God.
John 12 : 49 here the bible is telling us that Jesus Christ speaks only the word the father has commanded him and that is what he tells us. When Christ Jesus said that he shall build his church on this rock and the gate of hell shall not prevail against it that was the word of the father to Jesus.
Deuteronomy 18 : 18 here the bible made us understand that God also raises prophet from among the brethren which he put his words in thier mouth to speak as he has commanded them to that is telling us that God is the master of the church and we are his servant so we must act as instructed. We must not do things by our own accord we must wait for the last command form God.
1 Timothy 3 : 16 here the bible is tell use about God the son he says without argument God was manifested in flesh justified in spirit and the angels witnessed him preached so God was manifested in every from
1 Thessalonians 2 : 14 here the bible made it clear to us that as brethren we are part of the church of God.
