Marriage is a union between a man and a woman. A woman will leave her father's house and join with a man to live under the same roof.As a married couple, there are obligations for both parties. As the husband has a role to play, so does the wife. Both parties should give what is due to each other. A man must love his wife and protect her at all times. Some men beat their wife like drums daily. The fact that women are weaker vessels does not mean they should be maltreated. They need to be taken care of. Don't yell at her. When I was growing up, I remembered that anytime my dad is coming home from work and we hear his car horn, we would run and pretend as if we've slept. Now, I'm not talking about the children alone. My mum is inclusive. My dad yells at everyone. He yells at her too. This is not allowed. As couples, there should be respect and love for one another
The Bible says he who finds a wife has found a good thing, and obtains favour from The Lord. The husband found the woman and married her, and it's a blessing to him because God said it's a good thing, so why should a man beat her wife. They must be taken care of. Some men do not care about the welfare of their family, and the bible is strongly against it. 1 timothy 5:8
Anyone who doesn't provide for their relatives, and especially their household, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever
What does the Bible teach us about fasting
The bible taught us a lot about fasting. When we are fasting, there are things we must observe to make our prayer answered. From the list is never to be a hypocrite when fasting. Fasting should not be made known to anyone. It should be between you and God, or between husband and wife and God. Matthew 6:16
Moreover, when the fast, do not be as the hypocrite of a sad countenance, for they disfigure their face that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily verily I say unto you, they have their reward
Those who make it known to men that they are fasting are referred to as hypocrites by the scripture. By so doing, they have their rewards already, which means their fasting is not recognized by God and their prayer, won't be answered
Also, the bed must not be defied. Husband and wife should stay faithful to their marriage. They must not look at the opposite sex lustfully. It's also very important to practice abstinence when fasting, so you can pray effectively. Prayer coupled with fasting has a great impact. Where science fails, prayer prevails. 1 Corinthians 7:4
The wife does not have authority over her own body but yields it to her husband. In the same way, the husband does not have authority over his own body but yields it to his wife. 5 Do not deprive each other except perhaps by mutual consent and for a time, so that you may devote yourselves to prayer
Don't allow the sweetness you started with when you are courting to turn sour. Let the fire continue to burn. If a man and a woman are believers, they are both sanctified and their children are happy, if not, you will not be able to lead your children to sanctification. Such children will grow and be wayward. It's rare to see the children of believers go wild. May God give us the wisdom to obey his words and set our family on the right path
Fasting is beneficial to the body
The scientist's at the university of southern California said fasting is beneficial for people suffering from damaged immune system and also for aged or elderly people, because starving the body regenerate the immune system, and produces new white blood cell, which combat diseases
