Mass Indoctrination Day 1- Introduction // 19th June, 2023.

Glory be to God almighty for a successful meeting today. It was a great privilege to be a part of it. Here are what I learnt from the meeting.

Lesson

Our manner of living should be worthy of Christ, our faith so be according to God's holy word and not according to man's desires or laid down rules. God has given every man right to choose whether to serve him or not to serve him. Believer's lives ought to glorify the father and drawing others unto him. (Philippians 1:27, Romans 5:17)

There are false doctrines and men do teach them unto others who are ignorant, believers must be very careful inorder to know those doctrines and avoid them. The doctrines we should follow are that of christ.( 1 Timothy 6:3, Mathew 17:5)

There is only one master and lord which is the Lord Jesus Christ. We should listen to what he is teaching us and not of men. There are many religions and teachers out there, their doctrines are not what we should follow but that of the only teacher which is Christ.the Lord once dooje in the in times past proclamaing Jesus as he only bogotten and recommending us to hear him. If we fail to hear what our Lord Jesus is teaching us through his words, we may end up hearing the wrong doctrines. (Job 1:4)

The dangers of following what is not of Christ is that our worship would be in vain. All that we will do will amount to nothing. It is evil to leave God's command and follow that of man. We should not practice religion recklessly. We should endeavor to analyze things before we accept them. (Mark7:7-8)

God obligated us to go and make disciples of men, baptizing them in the name of the father, son and the spirit and we should also teach them to observe what he has taught us. To make disciples is the part of the assignment he gave his disciples. He order that they should be baptized and be taught his words so that they can obey them. (Mathew 28:19)

The doctrine of Christ are all in the bible, whatever is not written in the bible should not be accepted by us. If it is not written in the word of God then it is not the command of God. If anyone teaches us what is not written in the scriptures then we should not accept it, it is false (1 cor14:11)

Christ first doctrine is baptism, Paul was not a Christian initially, he was a member of Judaism. He persecuted the church making havoc of it. After his conversation, he was first told to be baptized. (Gal1:13, acts 22:16,1 cor1:1-2, Gals1:22-23)

Baptism is the formal act of joining the church. Those who were added to the church by the apostles were baptized and added to the church. But before they were baptized each of them were confronted with the word of God and they received or believed them first. Those who were baptized first received the word of God (Acts 2:41, acts 2:46-47)

Joining the church of God is very crucial, God didnt build his church to leave it empty, he built it for his people whom he has called to join it. Christ being the head of the church, also commanded gentiles to Join the church as well, for they are fellow heirs and member of the body. Being member of the body is God's will. (eph3:16, col 1:14)

If we say we received Christ but we refused to receive his word then we are equally rejecting Christ we can't claim we have chrsit when we can't receive his teachings. If we refused to accept the church of Christ and we say we accept Christ we are being misled. He built the church and wants us to be part of it., (John12:48, Romans 12:8, Eph5:23.)

The church is so dear to Christ that was why he gave himself for it. It is so important that he bought it with his blood. The church is for eternal purpose, it is valid forever. It is the instrument for God's wisdom to be preached to man. The church is to reveal his glory. ,(eph5:25, eph3:10-11)

The church is God's, Christ came to purchase it for him. Whatever he did was for God's glory and not his. Christ is that prophet that was prophesied by Moses. Christ came not for his own purpose but that of the father and fulfilled it (John 12:50, deut, 18:18 act3:22)

Whatever belongs to God is called by God's name, the owners name is identified. We should not take God's place in the things that belongs to him. What belongs to God should be called by his name. Isa 43:7 Luke 9:20 dan 9:19

To accept the word of God, we need to study it , For the bible said faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. For us to accept the word we first need to find it out (Romans10:17)
