Many people still worship idols today ,this comes inform of images, statues, or objects they created with their own hands.
when people turn to idols, they reject the true God who created them. And according to the Bible, God does not listen to idol worshippers.
2 Corinthians 6:14–16 makes this very clear. It says that light and darkness do not mix, just like Christ and Belial (a symbol of wickedness) have no relationship. God is light. Idols represent darkness. If someone chooses darkness, they separate themselves from God’s presence.
In real life, imagine calling someone for help while ignoring them or even insulting them — will they answer you? That’s what idol worship is like. People are calling on God but living in disobedience by serving other gods.
But there is still hope, If someone truly repents and turns away from idols, God is ready to accept and listen to them. The Bible says God is merciful but also just — He punishes sin, especially when done knowingly.
The lesson here is very simple , if we want God to hear us , we have to worship him.
No idols. No divided loyalty. When you walk in God's light He will listen to you .
