Many people today ask, “Do I really need religion to be saved?” The answer, according to the Bible and God’s plan, is yes religion plays an important role in salvation.
being saved from sin and gaining eternal life with God is the true meaning of salvation. If salvation wasn’t important, why would God send His only Son, Jesus Christ, to teach us how to live and guide us to the right path? how to worship and follow God is actually one of the things that Jesus showed us ,and that’s what religion is all about.
Religion is not just about going to church. It’s about believing in God, obeying His word, and doing what pleases Him. In Malachi 3:7, God says: “Return unto me, and I will return unto you.” This means we must return to His ways and that happens through true religious practice.
We were created by God in other to worship Him. If we don’t do that, how can we say we are living for Him? We praise God ,follow His commandments, and live a life that leads to salvation, all this is what we learn to do when we practice the true religion.
So, is religion needed for salvation? Yes. Without practicing a true faith without living for God we can’t expect to receive His promise of eternal life. We are being connected to God when we practice new religion, and through it, we walk the path that leads to salvation.
