"Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.
Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:
For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.
Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls". James 1:17-21 (KJV)
Welcome to the concluding part of the series; Does God want all things including evil to happen?
In this concluding part, brother Eli continues from where he stopped in the first part giving strong and valid reasons why God is never responsible for the evil that happens in the world.
Like the scriptures quoted above, there is no evil in God. All good and perfect gifts come from God, and there is no shadow of turning in Him. God only has good intentions for humans and that's what He wants us to practice.
Brother Eli emphasizes the free will God gave to mankind and that free will is the reason why there are evil things that happen around us. They are done by men, not by God.
We can argue why does God allow evil to happen if He doesn't support it? In Brother Eli's words, not everything that happens is happening because God wants it to happen. God allows it to happen but it is not his will.
God allows evil because He gave us the free will or choice to choose between evil and good, but His desire for us is that we choose good instead of evil and that is to obey his will and follow His commandment.
Our understanding of the words of God and what God has done or put in place before we were born for us to live Worthy and peaceful lives will make us know how good the God we serve is. God prepared everything that we need, everything that will make us live good and fulfilling lives.
Our food, clothing, and necessities in our daily lives. Plants, animals, even fungi and bacteria God created them all for our good.
Can bacteria do us good? Yes, there are good bacteria that maintain the balance in our digestive tract, there are good bacteria that thrive in our armpits, and in our ears, and there are good Bacteria that thrive in our mouth to prevent the growth of harmful bacteria. All these were created for our good and not to do us evil.
The creation account showed us how God created everything first before he created man on the sixth day of creation. Everything was prepared including spiritual things.
Brother Eli explained further by reading the book of Ephesians 2:10 KJV
"For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them"
God had before ordained that we may live a fruitful, meaningful, happy, and abundant Life. God had pre-ordained the good works that we must do and that we should walk in them.
I love Brother Eli's analogy using the preparation of a Train to explain how God has prepared everything and set them for us to follow and live fulfilling lives.
When preparing a Train, the first thing to be prepared is the track where the train shall run. There is a definite track that the train must run, it must not leave the tracks else there will be problems.
Similarly, the commandments, regulations, and statutes God gave to us are like the tracks for us to live peaceful and meaningful lives, a holy life on Earth. But people rather choose to follow different tracks and become Rebels against God instead of doing his will. They do their own will that's why there are evil things that happen around us because they are done by men, not by God.
God has laid out clear guidelines on how to live a good and meaningful life, but sadly not everyone follows them. Instead, they decide to take their path and disregard God's plan. The results of this are bad, as the world is full of injustice and suffering due to people choosing the wrong paths instead of following what God has laid out for us.
We need to stay on track with God’s will to have true joy and peace, rather than making our own decisions that lead only to heartache. Following God's will brings us true joy and satisfaction, while leaving the tracks and doing what we want may bring temporary pleasure, but eventually, it leads to unhappiness.
We must take responsibility for our actions, and understand that when we stray from God's way, there will be consequences. Whether those are physical, emotional, or spiritual, they all carry weighty repercussions.
In conclusion, God's plan is always the best plan for us, and he wants only good things for his children. By following His track for life, we can live a fulfilling and joyful life here on earth.
