Teach yourself and teach your child the importance of life. It’s normal to go through frustrations. It may be from friends, family or other internal problem but never forget that life is worth living. Life is sweet and important. This is why even older people never want to die no matter how old they may be.
The best people that can help depressed teens are their parents. You should teach your child thr right way and right path of life. Do not promise what you cannot give. Teach them the way Jesus Christ has said parents should teach their kids.
Truly, there is no perfecf parent but with the help and grace of God, you will be the perfect kind of parent for your child.
The little things really matter. We may be different people but different things puts a smile on the faces of each of us.
Eat meals together. Drink together and I’m not talking about alcohol. Do things together and it doesn’t mean you should monitor your kids too much but teach them the most important thing.
What’s the most important thing that parents should teach their kids? I think they are based on two things. Parents should teach their kids that life is important and it is worth living.
Secondly, parents should teach their kids that everything in life is vanity and there is nothing we brought to the world. If we didn’t bring anything to the world, we will definitely not take anything out of it.
This is why we have to be content and not allow any vices of life take over us. Anyone who is content with life and how God has created him or her will never be put into depression.
